WaterCare UCS875 Stuck in Filter Mode

Recently purchased a house with an early 2000's vintage CareSoft/WaterCare softener (UCS875EM). The main valve appears to be a Clack WS1 (5 button). When going in to adjust hardness, it displays -nA-, which after some research, shows to be in filtration mode, not softening mode. More research took me to the configuration menu (Next + Down for 5 seconds). From there, I can switch from Filtering to Softening mode, adjust the settings, then exit out. However, when I go back to adjust the hardness, it's still showing -nA-. It seems like it's somehow stuck in filtering mode. I tried to reset it by removing the battery and power for a few minutes, but no change.

Is there some other setting I'm missing? There are no error codes displayed, but is the board bad? For it's age, it's pretty clean.

Good Source for PVS-7B/D body?

I started with a mediocre PVS-7B, and eventually upgraded the tube and body (old body had electrical gremlins). Old tube isn't bad, but it's a late gen2/early gen3 (ACC Date: 90-12, Part No: 300138-1). After years of that tube sitting in storage, I figured "why not get a body for it"? Looking for a kit or entire assembly minus tube.

Is Carlough Manufacturing the best bet? Normally I'd wait to find one on marketplace/ebay/tacswap on the cheap, but will be closing on a house soon, so play money will be non-existent.
