It released in 1983 in March and was Discontinued in June of the same year. It was $900 when new.

I have a couple of Japanese Gamecube games without the sleeve or slip cover or whatever you want to call it. I don't care if they're not original either.

It's a little 13 Magnavox with a working DVD player built in. Bought it off a friend. Unfortunately only has the composite connections in the front and the antenna connection in the back so I can't have anything else but it suits my needs and I like it.

My original battery couldn't hold a charge and now the battery plate is forever curved. But got a new battery and it is a bigger battery and haven't had issues so all is well.
