Gone, Gone, Gone.. and One Of These Days

The Everly Bros singing Gone, Gone, Gone is somehow the same song as One Of These Days by The Velvet Underground. Listen to them if you need to.

What I wanna know is, are there other songs that express 'one day you'll look for me and I'll be gone' in such a similar way? All I've come up with is Ramblin Man by Hank Williams, or Don't Follow by Alice In Chains, and those both seem different as they are about the person leaving, not the "You" being left behind.

Any thoughts, anyone?

Edit: I know I'm the OP, but I thought of more that convey the feeling I'm talking about:

DON'T THINK TWICE, IT'S ALRIGHT, Bob Dylan

STAY, by Zialand

THE ANGEL AND THE SAINT, Goldie Boutillier

I think it was in They All Get Guns..

Leaving all other #tadc discourse to one side there is a bit where Jax's eyeballs fill his eyes while his smile both grows and gets creepy, and it feels a lot like when you're in your mother's womb and she's stressed about something that's not your fault and you just have to foetus it through the tension

Been listening to vinyl cos I got sick of internet streaming tunes so of course had to put on my Children Of God double LP, haven't listened to it in years and just omg

How did I forget this tune?!??? "Sha la la..." Keep putting the needle back to the beginning.. it's like I'm 15 years old all over again but somehow in a good way

(*Also no, YOU'RE drunk fuck off*)
