picked this bad boy up in japan for about 50 yen when i was in Japan at a Hareruya digging through their bulk bins. Not sure if it's worth anything and i don't even like goblins, but thought it was cool

i still have like a few more years of the complimentary service, but the closest dealership is like 20 more miles out. Van Nuys was already far out for me. Before, at least I had the valet service; now I'm out of range. : (
This laptop has been great up until the last 4 months or so. I can't play the simplest games like League of Legends on the lowest setting without it capping out at 95°C and my CPU getting throttled.
It's been 2 or so years since I've had the laptop. Is there anything I can do, short of an entire re-paste, that fix this? Not sure what happened to it. I've already cleaned out the fans and it didn't help
it's real, i can see the T test and such. but as far as i know, this card should be 114/180 but this one is marked 113/180
is this worth anything?
Legit, since it passes green dot and t- test. But the front is making me feel off. the text feel looks fuzzy to read. is it just this print? i don't have another copy to compare to
I came over to the Gundam Card Game after burning out on Magic: The Gathering Commander, and the whole TCG hobby is still pretty new to me, just a little over 2 years in now.
Part of the appeal with Gundam for me, outside of the obvious flavor, lore, and big mechs, is that the decks are only 50 cards and the games are way shorter. But I’ve been wondering if most people are mainly grinding locals and regionals, or if people actually play long sessions casually too.
What I’ve noticed is that after maybe 2–3 games, whether it’s 1v1, 2v2, or FFA, my group usually feels pretty done and we end up switching games. Meanwhile with Commander, we could easily run 4–5 games in a day because the format naturally creates more varied game states. (IYKYK about the lack of variability in EDH, but that's another topic)
I think what really stands out to me is how different “rotation-style” TCGs feel. It feels like you really have to stay actively locked into the game and meta to keep up. Not just owning the right decks, but constantly maintaining matchup knowledge, sequencing, game sense, sideboard understanding, etc. If you step away for even a bit, you're cooked lol.
Commander never really gave me that feeling. Even after taking time away, you could usually sit back down with a deck you already knew and still have a good experience, because the format feels less dependent on constantly keeping up with the meta and more focused on the actual gameplay at the table.
In case it sounded like it, not a complaint. It's my own fault I'm trying to keep up with 3 TCGs at once, so i accept this challenge. Just a curious discussion I thought i could take something away from.
