My budgie was playing with its toy and then he started chirping loud, he had the toy string stuck around its neck.

He’s breathing fine, no tail bobbing, eating, drinking and pooping.

I can’t tell if the string is around his neck or just in the front stuck in feathers.

I tried to hold him down with towel but he wiggles so much.

When I put him back in his cage and he tries to pull on it and I’m afraid maybe it might tighten up.

What should I do? It’s Saturday night and there’s no place open.
