Best place to use Gemini API key

I recently bought a paid API key for Gemini because AI Studio was getting a bit too censored. The instant it flags anything in its Thoughts the Thoughts get paused and nuked to oblivion so even if it completes the prompt I can never see it.

The only workaround is to use a model with minimal thinking so it just instantly spits out the response, but even that will get truncated and then I’ll have to keep prompting Continue.

And of course models with minimal thinking don’t write well.

I tried Tavo, TypingMind, Geeps, Chatbox, Agnaistic, and a whole host of other sites and apps that let you input an API key. None of them worked. The model would either refuse, or not even give a response.

The closest was Agnaistic and even then the response got cut off before all of it appeared.

Does anyone know of a way to solve this?

EDIT: My API key is from AI Studio.

Mori's form is a flashdrive containing all her memories.

Inclusive Split Tunneling not working, applies to all websites regardless

Like the title says. I've turned Split Tunneling on, set it to Inclusive, and solely specified www.perplexity.ai as the website to send through the tunnel.

However, checking using NordVPN and Youtube, both of them also seem to be going through the tunnel. NordVPN tells me my IP address is in HK, and Youtube also shows my location to be HK.

How do I solve this? Having it active on everything really drains my data.

EDIT: Apologies, I should have provided more information.

I am currently using the Comet browser, Perplexity's dedicated browser with their LLM built into it. This is probably the issue, because I just tested Windscribe in Chrome and it worked fine. Both NordVPN and Youtube displayed my current real location, whereas Perplexity displayed the VPN location.

In this case, I'm wondering if there's any way to use the Windscribe VPN on the Comet browser while restricting it solely to Perplexity?

The max points you get on a subscription is 1 million points per month right?

Well, as it turns out, one simple request to Manus 1.6 Max requires a whopping 1,126,667 points.

So it’s literally impossible to use it even if you’re paying Poe. So why does it even exist as an option? Unless points rollover and accumulate each month, no one will have enough points to use it.

API vs Monthly Subscription in AI Studio

I’ve been thinking whether to start paying for AI Studio, given how much better it is compared to the Gemini app, and was looking at these two payment options.

If I’m only going to be using the Playground, and not linking the paid API key to any project elsewhere, will the API be a cheaper option than the monthly subscription?

Anyone whose bought them before, please feel free to weigh in.

  2. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone becomes a sorcerer (power level totally random).

So apparently Marvel is doing some wacky things with Storm’s storyline, and in this panel we see her traveling through the Lovecraft Mythos, JJK, Team Fortress 2, and some other stuff.

Judging from the narrator’s tone, we are meant to believe that all of these verses are “equal” to one another.

What are the most scientifically accurate speed feats you know in fiction? Could be subsonic, could be transonic, could be supersonic, could be hypersonic, etc.

In this video, the fast moving Space Monster is moving at near light speed, causing the light emitting from it to blueshift as it moves towards the ship, and then redshift as it moves away from the ship. That’s scientifically accurate.
