Splurged on a collectible 3-cup moka pot several years ago. Haven’t done the math, but the savings must be huge. When I break out my ancient Chemex and French press for guests, that’s when I recognize/appreciate the scant amount of grounds a moka pot requires. ~1.3 tablespoons needed for Americano versus 7–8 tablespoons. Buon caffè! Every morning is a ritual.
