Increase in MyPay and Instant Loan?

I have a question about MyPay and Instant Loan limits. I received my first direct deposit with Chime around September 11, and I’m a Prime member. I received my second direct deposit at the end of September, and I’m expecting my third in mid-October.

Currently, my MyPay limit is $100, and my Instant Loan limit is also $100. I’ve taken out two Instant Loans for $100 each.

For those who have been using Chime for a while, when did you start seeing your MyPay and Instant Loan limits increase? Do you typically need 3–4 months of consistent direct deposits before your limits go up, or can they increase sooner?

Thanks!

10 days (240 Hours) Visa-Free Transit Policy

Hi,

I’m an American citizen and wanted to check whether the following itinerary would qualify for China’s visa-free transit policy.

I would travel from the United States to Hong Kong, take a train from Hong Kong to Mainland China, stay in Mainland China for 10 days, and then fly from China to South Korea.

Would this itinerary be eligible for visa-free transit? Specifically, I’m unsure whether entering Mainland China by train from Hong Kong is permitted under the policy.

Thanks!

E-Bike around Bois De Boulogne

Hi,

I’m visiting Paris from New York, and I really enjoy riding my bike around Central Park, just taking in the scenery and getting away from the city for a little while.

I was wondering if Bois de Boulogne is similar to Central Park. Would it be worth renting an e-bike and spending a few hours riding around, exploring the park, and just hanging out for the day?

I haven’t seen a lot of posts or recommendations about Bois de Boulogne, so I’m not sure if it’s actually worth visiting. I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve been there before.

Thank you!

Paris Birthday Dinner Don Juan II vs Le Gabriel

Hello! I am planning a celebratory birthday dinner for my partner in Paris and trying to decide between Don Juan II (€500 for two) and Le Gabriel (€660 for two for the 7-course menu).

Since the price difference isn't huge, I'm mostly weighing the experiences. Don Juan II is a 1-star and Le Gabriel is a 3-star, but both seem incredibly unique.

To anyone who has dined at both: which one would you recommend for a milestone celebration and why?

Interviewing with PayPal - any guidance from former or current employees

I’m currently interviewing with PayPal and wanted to hear from people who either work there now or recently left.

Over the past few months, I’ve seen a lot of headlines about the company, multiple CEO changes over the last few years, rumors earlier this year about Stripe potentially acquiring PayPal, news of laying off 20 percent of employees, another big reorg, and several senior leaders leaving.

Would appreciate any honest perspectives on what things are actually like internally right now, culture, leadership, direction of the company, morale, etc.

thanks
