After the bachelor degree what's next?

Hi, I'm interested in learning about how to move to Japan. I have decided I might go for that bachelor's degree in something. I haven't researched it yet.

My question is let's say I got my bachelor's degree and I worked a few years in my homeland of America and saved around 8 to 10,000 dollars. Also I'm studying Japanese language and culture in my spare time rn....What else do I need to help me achieve a work Visa in order to be able to live in Japan long term? Sorry I know very little about the process and details.

Qelbree at the 4 week mark, tiredness?

For those of you who have made it to the 4 week mark and beyond did you find raising dose causing increased awareness and energy or did raising dose make you more sleepy and tired.

I started on 200mg, at week 4 I was upped to 400mg. I have tiredness until 2pm and have to nap most of that time. Plus I'm on Wellbutrin to improve energy levels but I'm also on multiple medications that could raise or lower energy levels.

But anyway did raising to 400mg or 600mg help with energy or cause more tiredness?

Thank you

Getting sponsored for a visa?

I know of a potential way to become a long term resident of Japan and in my case as an American. In order to do so I need to finish a Japanese language school and then it is possible but not guaranteed that I could be sponsored to get a visa for long term residency.

Does anyone know what skills or other things determine the interest of Japan (companies or whoever) in sponsoring a potential resident?

Genki 1 book for beginners?

I've heard mixed thoughts on this book for beginners. I'm not a complete begginer. I have 8 months are so on Duolingo. Now I'm interested in buying a book because Duolingo is not great way. Some have said Genki 1 is to difficult for beginners and to buy something else, others have suggested it as a great book and begginer friendly. Any advice?

Quelbree energizing or tiring, Your experience?

I'm right at the beginning of week 4 on Quelbree and I can not tell that its doing anything at all other than dry mouth, and possibly tiredness. My question is what is your experience with Quelbree, has it been activating and energizing or more sedating and tiring for you?

I'm at the 200mg dose, has dose changed anything for you?

What is going on with this medication?

I have been on Quelbree for 15 to 17 days. After about 5 days I suspected that Quelbree was making me tired so I switched to bedtime dosing of 200mg XR.

So now I'm on the drug for 15 to 17 days and I can't tell if the drug is doing anything at all. My focus and attention does not seem to be improving, my energy levels are only improving because the Wellbutrin that I'm upping in dosage due to tiredness.

Has it not kicked in yet? Does anyone have any experience and understand what I'm going through? And/or any advice?

Quelbree onset and experience's

Hi, I have just started Quelbree. About 4th or 5th day on and I believe the sedation has started, so I switched to bedtime dosing and problem solved. Im curious though from your experience with this medication when does the ADHD benefits start?

I have taken Strattera and could not keep taking it due to side effects like agitation, irritability, feeling wired up, anxiety. Is Quelbree anything like that as far as negative side effects?

Making a Vow to stop something?

If I am having a problem with committing an unwholesome act but one that does not go against the precepts nor an illegal act. How can I go about making a Vow to withhold from this unwholesome act. Even if it be a vow to reduce but not eliminate.

I want to make a vow in a Zen or even general Buddhist way. Is there a method? I can simply say "I vow to stop committing action A". I prefer to do it in a more traditional Buddhist way.

Hi, when I think about it sometime I am a person who has benefited from Buddhism rather than a 24/7 Buddhist. I sit Shikantaza everyday and understand mindfulness, craving, the four noble truths and some basics like that.

What are some things I could add to my practice so that I'm more than just a Shikantaza practitioner. (Visiting a temple and speaking with a teacher is not possible at this time). I prefer things related to Soto Zen Buddhism, or Zen Buddhism.

Im asking what are people's experiences with Wellbutrin 75mg ir and Scizo-affective medications including Seroquel and Latuda or any anti-psychotic's.

I just started Wellbutrin 75mg ir and I'm noticing pros and cons. Pros are increased energy, confidence and maybe attention. Cons are occasionally shallow breathing requiring me to manually take some deeper breaths, uncertainty over my ability to continue this medication as well as mental uncertainty as my mind is slightly unhinged at times. Im actually a bit afraid sometimes from the medicine but at the same time there are times where I notice increased confidence, strange right? Maybe some slight confusion.

Im struggling with energy and ADHD so Wellbutrin is the most powerful stimulant drug my doctor will likely prescribe. Anyone have similar effects? Did they reduce with time? Is the sustained release better, not XR but SR? Any other advice or words?

I have bipolar disorder and was on oxcarbazepine 600mg 2x a day. I was having small ups and downs in mood, including hypomania.

I ask him to put me on Oxtellar XR which is the extended release version. I have read that this pill was designed to release over a 24 hour period and allowed for once a day dosing.

However, he wants me to take 2x a day of the extended release. So there's contradictions in information. He says 2x a day will prevent the hypomania breakthrough's and the ups and downs of the immediate release.

Is he correct or is once a day dosing of oxtellar XR the appropriate way to take it?
