Switched from Android to iPhone 2 months ago. Has anyone else experienced this?

I switched from Android to an iPhone about 2 months ago, and this weird issue has happened 2–3 times just this week.
The home screen suddenly goes almost completely black. The app labels are still visible, notifications are still there, and the phone responds, but the icons and wallpaper disappear until I restart it.
I’m using an iPhone 17, and everything else has been working fine. Is this a known iOS bug, or could it be a hardware issue? Has anyone else experienced this, and wyd it happen???

I Still Regret Burning the Letters My Girlfriend Wrote to Me

I have been with my girlfriend for over 3 years. Around 1.5 years ago, I had a collection of letters that my girlfriend had written and posted (via post office)to me.
One day, my mom found those letters. She didn’t confront me immediately, but later I found out that she had told her brother and sister about them. Eventually, she brought it up with me as well. She wasn’t happy about the relationship, even though she already knew my girlfriend, and she said some pretty harsh things about her.
At that time, I was under a lot of stress. Then I learned that my relatives also knew about the situation, which sent me into a panic. Feeling overwhelmed, I ended up burning all of the letters.
I never told her about this and also this makes me feel guilty that why I burned letters that had so much love init. 😭😭
I still feel guilty about burning those letters and I’ve never told her what happened. Should I tell her the truth now, even though it happened 1.5 years ago? If so, what’s the best way to bring it up?
