fresh grad that needs advice

Problem/Goal:
Super torn ako whether i-accept ko na ba yung offer from a startup company or i-risk ko na hintayin yung outcome nung application ko sa isa pang company. I genuinely liked the startup and the people I met there, pero after reading the contract, nagkaroon talaga ako ng second thoughts.

Context:
Fresh grad ako from the province and goal ko talaga is mag-relocate to Metro Manila for my first job. I already received an offer from a startup company, but after reading the employment contract, dun ko lang narealize na mas broad pala yung role than I initially understood and mas sales-oriented/quota based din siya which hindi ko masyado gusto. At the same time, sobrang nagustuhan ko talaga yung people and work environment based sa interviews, kaya ang hirap din i-let go. On the other hand, may upcoming interview pa ako with a more established company for a role that’s more aligned with what I actually want, pero interview stage pa lang ako so wala pa ring assurance na magkaka-offer ako.

also, it’s been less than a month pa lang since I graduated (if this info matters) and the job offer I received was from the very first company na nag interview sakin

Previous Attempt:
Binasa ko nang mabuti yung contract, pinag-usapan namin ng parents ko yung offer, and we shared the same concerns regarding the compensation, workload, and startup risk. I also listed down the pros and cons of both companies and tried getting different perspectives before making a decision kasi ayoko talagang magsisi sa first full-time job ko.

please share your thoughts sa situation ko

hi! I’m a fresh grad from the province and target ko na talaga na mag work sa manila directly rather than dito sa province.

fast forward, naka receive na ako ng job offer from a small starting company. this is their offer

₱22,000 gross/month
daily transportation allowance for onsite work
6-month probation
sss, philhealth, pag ibig

Based on the contract, the role includes
- Business development and merchant acquisition
- Conducting client presentations and product demonstrations
- Merchant onboarding and training
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- QA testing and user acceptance testing
- Administrative and operational tasks
- Regular travel around Metro Manila for client meetings

based sa interview nila sakin, I feel like the work environment would be really good kasi we really got along soooo so so well and I feel like sobrang ganda to work with them. however ngayon I’m actually having doubts after reading the contract. I initially didn’t prefer this role but this is what was offered to me.

also, I have an upcoming meeting with another company in tuesday. this is a more established company and the work is aligned with what I actually prefer/like. I ready had a phone interview with them and the next interview will be via ms teams with the manager. the problem is I’m still at an early stage sa employment process and haven’t actually received an offer or some sort so wala din namang assurance

let me list the pros and cons for each

Company A (Small starting company )
Pros:
● Great work culture based on my interview experience
● Really liked the people I talked to during the interview
● Friendly and approachable leadership
● Office is in my preferred location
● Already received a job offer
● Opportunity to learn a lot

Cons:
● Startup company (less stability)
● ₱22,000 gross monthly salary + transportation allowance (which feel ko tight since im relocating)
● Role covers business development, sales, merchant onboarding, client presentations, QA testing, admin tasks, and regular travel around Metro Manila
● Performance targets/quotas during probation
● Business Development wasn’t originally my preferred role

Company B (Established Company)
Pros:
● More established company
● role aligns more with my interests
● Office is also in my preferred area
● Potentially more structured environment and career growth
Cons:
● No offer yet
● I’m only at the interview stage
● I don’t know the work culture or team yet
● Hiring process will likely take longer than the time I have to decide on the startup offer

please I want to know your thoughts since gulong gulo rin ako as a fresh grad :((

I know I’m overthinking but ewan ko ba

for context I have been diagnosed with pcos/pmos for over a year now and since then I have been taking althea na

fast forward. I had contact with my boyfriend last june 17-18 and we were protected. condom + pull out + althea. ang kinaka overthink ko lang ay the past month before the contact, I have been pretty inconsistent with taking althea. sibrang na busy and pagod palagi kaya there were times na i’d forget pero from what I remember is 1 day lang naman then I’ll take it as soon as I remember the next day. most days tanda ko lumalaglas ako ng 1-2 hrs sa normal time na dapat tinitake ko sya. I had my withdrawal bleed din as usual nung june 23

while typing this, hindi ko na rin talaga alam kasi I know sa sarili ko na I’m overthinking but I just can’t shake it off for some reason 😭
