I designed an iOS app to solve a problem I kept having. Looking for UX/UI feedback.
I had so many different dates to remember. subscriptions, IDs, vehicle registrations also for multiple people too, also warranty's as well. and I kept forgetting them because trying to track it all in my Notes app or calendar was just a cluttered mess. To finally fix this problem, after months of designing, tweaking, and testing, I launched my app, DocDoc.
It’s an iOS document expiration tracker that helps you stay on top of your important paperwork and renewals. For example, you can add your ID or vehicle registration so you get a notification before they actually expire. You can also use it to keep track of warranties, subscriptions, or any other time-sensitive documents so you're never caught off guard.
I honestly don’t know what to expect now that it’s live on the App Store, but I’m excited to finally put it out there. I’d really appreciate any feedback on the idea, the clean, minimalist design, or the overall user experience.
I'm especially interested in feedback from a UI/UX perspective. I tried to keep the interface clean and minimalist, but I'd love to know:
- Is the purpose of the app immediately clear?
- Does the organization/navigation make sense?
- Is there anything that feels unnecessary or confusing?
- Does the overall experience feel intuitive?
- Are there any interactions or features you would approach differently?
The app is now live on the App Store if you'd like to see the actual product and experience:
