My handmade parasol is finished,I’m going to pair it with my Lolita outfit!
After more than four hours of work, I’ve finally finished it! I spent the whole evening making this parasol. As soon as the materials arrived, I couldn’t wait to start working on it. It might look pretty decent in the end, but the process was really tough haha.I originally planned to sew everything together by hand, but my stitching skills are honestly terrible, it was kind of a disaster. So on a whim, I switched to using a hot glue gun instead. Luckily, it still turned out pretty sturdy, otherwise I really would’ve lost it.There were also some issues with the materials. I didn’t expect the blue ribbon to be this light in color. When I chose it, it was supposed to be a deeper shade, but since I had already started, I couldn’t really stop halfway. Thankfully, the final result didn’t have any major problems and still looks acceptable. But honestly, I don’t think I’ll try this again, it completely drained my energy.
By the way, please ignore the outfit I’m wearing right now, since I still haven’t decided which Lolita dress I’ll pair with my parasol in the end. In a few days, I’ll ask everyone for their opinions to help me choose a Lolita outfit for a proper photoshoot.
