I'm a bit worried after my phone screen with a recruiter this week for an engineering role. Everything seemed great on the phone screen and the recruiter asked for my availability for an interview in the next few weeks. I know that there are a couple of former GM people working in management within the department I'm applying into and am worried that they are connecting with current GM managers about why I no longer work at GM. Unfortunately, it was performance related despite being "meets expectations" at 2025 year end.

Anyone been in a similar situation that can provide insight?

Hello, I just got an offer for a group leader role at a plant in Michigan.

I am expected to do a drug test and smoke marijuana occasionally. When I test positive for THC (nothing else) will my offer be rescinded?
