Finally added darkmode to my app, which theme do you like more?

I built ''just another habit tracker'', I know and I don't care

So I launched my own minimalistic habit tracker about 2 weeks ago. It's pretty basic, not 100 features, just the most essential features. After all I just wanna track my habits and look at my progress, not more. Most habit trackers feel overengineered with way too much information that I don't need.

I posted about it and people told me: ''Oh wow you built another habit tracker, now it's 10000+1 habit trackers in the appstore'' Yeah, I know and I don't care. I was tired of building stuff that I don't need just to make money, so I thought if my projects fail, let me atleast build something I can use myself. So I created Vane

I integrated only features that I found useful for myself, for example:

- creating time based habits (20 minutes/day for example) with an integrated timer that logs the time for you

- creating weekly habits: I for example wanna go running 3x per week, not everyday, so I want the app to track my goal this way

- unit based habits, like drinking 8 glasses of water per day

- a pomodoro timer: I use pomodoro for learning so having habit tracking and pomodoro in one app comes in handy

- getting notifications for my habits: sometimes I just forget to do something so being reminded helps

- also has homescreen widgets

- no accounts, no internet needed

Maybe some might disagree, but I like rather simple than overcomplicated.

If you do too feel free to try the app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vane-habit-tracker/id6763763425

Need honest feedback on my app

Launched Vane about a week ago, users are actively using the app, but hesitate to try the pro features, even tho there is even a free trial. Every feedback or critique is appreciated.
Don't hold back

So I launched my minimalistic habit tracker about 3 days ago. It already has 4 Trials and even one monthly subscribers! I know it's still the beginning but the fact that someone already likes the app enough to buy the pro version really makes me a bit more optimistic. The trials are from free codes I gave out on reddit, but I will add a 7day free trial to the annual subscription in the next update, probably launching next week.

Do you think those are good numbers for the first few days? And how are your apps doing?

Vane is a minimalistic, privacy first habit tracker. It‘s made for people who value minimalistic design over cluttered, overengineered UIs. No Account needed, all your data is stored locally on your device. If you have a new device you can simply import your data to the new device.

Pro features:
• create unlimited habits
• 6 homescreen widgets in different sizes
• up to 3 daily reminders per habit
• import/export your data
• family sharing with up to 5 family members
• restore archived habits

Pro unlocks all the features above, but you can also use the app for free. Normally the annual subscription is $19.99, but to celebrate launch I'm giving away Pro for free.

If you want a code just write a comment or dm me ;)

Would love feedback or suggestions on the app!

My last 2 apps failed miserably. The reason: I didn't build for myself, but what I thought others would like. So this time around I decided to just build something that I myself can use. So when it fails this time around, I atleast built something useful for myself.

So I created Vane, a minimalistic, privacy first habit tracker. I kept the UI simple on purpose because I couldnt handle the cluttered and overengineered UIs of other habit trackers. I just wanna track my habits and see my progress, thats it. I am really satisfied with the visuals of the app and think thats probably its biggest strong suit.
