Talbi made a huge impact again vs Canada

Talbi delivered another excellent performance yesterday against Canada coming off the bench.

What impressed me the most was not only his quality on the counter attacks, but also how valuable he was defensively. His tracking back, work rate and defensive effort were outstanding.

And then once Morocco recovered the ball, he immediately became dangerous in transition. Direct, intelligent and lethal on the counter.

He keeps making an impact every single time he plays. Top performance again.

Talbi is having a fantastic World Cup

Honestly, Talbi is having a fantastic World Cup for Morocco.

Every single time he comes on, he makes a difference. He brings energy, directness, dribbling and real danger in the final third.

Against the Netherlands especially, he was decisive: the assist came at the perfect moment, and then he stepped up in the penalty shootout with so much composure and cold blood.

For such a young player, his confidence on the biggest stage is seriously impressive.

What a player. A genuinely pure talent.

El Aynaoui is having an incredible World Cup

Honestly, El Aynaoui is having an unbelievable tournament and I genuinely think he’s been one of the best midfielders of this World Cup so far.

His intelligence is what stands out the most: movement, positioning, timing of his runs, high recoveries, progression with the ball, arriving in the box at the right moment and constantly creating danger for opposing defenses.

He plays with so much maturity and understanding of the game. He’s one of those midfielders who make everything flow better around them.

And the craziest part is that he still feels massively underrated outside of Morocco.

Roma genuinely have a generational talent in their squad.

Chadi Riad is having an exceptional World Cup

Honestly, Chadi Riad is having an exceptional World Cup with Morocco.

He looks like a real leader in the backline. The pressure doesn’t seem to affect him at all — if anything, he looks even more composed and elevated on the biggest stage.

Against the Netherlands he was excellent again, and it’s a shame he took that knock, but he said he feels 100% ready for the next match.

What impresses me the most is how complete he looks: elite defensively, strong in duels, calm under pressure, and his ball progression is exactly what you’d expect from a player developed at Barça.

Crystal Palace have a seriously special defender here.

El Khannouss is having an exceptional World Cup

Honestly, El Khannouss is having an exceptional World Cup.

He’s playing as a left winger, which isn’t even his natural position, and yet he looks so comfortable. His close control, dribbling, intelligence between the lines and ability to carry the ball inside are really impressive.

You can tell he’s naturally more of a number 10, but even out wide he keeps finding dangerous spaces and making things happen.

He’s absolutely full of talent. What a gem.

Mazraoui is having an unbelievable World Cup

Honestly, Mazraoui is having an exceptional World Cup and I feel like not enough people are talking about it.

He’s playing left back, adapting constantly depending on the matchup, and he even played as a center-back against the Netherlands where he was absolutely imperial.

Defensively solid, technically elite, intelligent positioning, calm under pressure… he genuinely looks like one of Morocco’s most important players every game.

What a player.

Should Brahim Diaz stay or leave?

Hey Madrid fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about Brahim Diaz.

I watched him a lot with Morocco during AFCON and now again against Brazil at the World Cup, and honestly every time I see him play for the national team he looks absolutely incredible.

His technical level, dribbling, creativity, intensity and ability to break lines really stand out. Against Brazil especially, he looked like a player capable of changing the game every time he touched the ball.

So I’m curious: what’s the general feeling among Madrid fans?
Do you think he should stay at Real Madrid and fight for a bigger role, or would it be better for his career and for Real Madrid to leave and become an undisputed starter somewhere else?

From the outside, sometimes it feels like there’s a genuinely world-class player there who maybe still hasn’t had a fully consistent opportunity at club level.

What do VfB Stuttgart fans think about El Khannouss?

Hey VfB fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about El Khannouss.

I watched him against Brazil at the World Cup and honestly thought he had an excellent game, especially considering he was playing as a left winger.

What surprised me is that I’ve always seen him more as a natural number 10 or central attacking midfielder rather than a wide player. But against Brazil he looked very intelligent positionally, technically clean and really dangerous when drifting inside.

So I’m curious: how has he been for Stuttgart overall?
What is considered his best position by Stuttgart fans?
And do you think he has the potential to become one of the top creative midfielders in the Bundesliga?

What do Sunderland fans think about Talbi?

Hey Sunderland fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about Talbi.

We saw a bit of him against Brazil at the World Cup. Not enough to fully judge him, but enough to notice some interesting qualities.

One of Morocco’s most important attacking players, Abde Ezzalzouli, got injured right before the World Cup, and Talbi is basically his natural replacement in the squad.

From the little I saw, he looked technically gifted, confident on the ball and capable of creating danger in 1v1 situations.

So I’m curious: how highly do Sunderland fans rate him?
Do you think he has the potential to become a really important player for the club?

What’s the issue with Mazraoui at United?

Hey United fans, genuine question: what exactly is the problem with Mazraoui at Manchester United?

I watched him against Brazil at the World Cup and honestly thought he delivered a complete masterclass. Defensively solid, technically excellent, intelligent positioning, calm under pressure and very dangerous going forward.

He looked like one of Morocco’s best players on the pitch.

So I’m genuinely confused: why isn’t he an undisputed starter at United?
Is it injuries, inconsistency, tactical reasons, or simply competition in the squad?

From the outside, he looks far too good to not be starting regularly.

What do Crystal Palace fans think about Chadi Riad?

Hey Palace fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about Chadi Riad.

I watched him against Brazil at the World Cup and honestly thought he was imperial. Very strong defensively, dominant in duels, composed under pressure and I was especially impressed by his ball progression and passing out from the back.

He really looked like a modern center-back with both physicality and technical quality.

So I’m curious, how has he been for Crystal Palace overall?
Do you see him as a future starter and top player for the club, or is he still inconsistent / developing?

How has Gasperini still not realized what he has in El Aynaoui?

I genuinely don’t understand how Gasperini still hasn’t fully realized the gem he has in Neil El Aynaoui.

Watching him against Brazil at the World Cup was eye-opening. Calm under pressure, progressive passing, intensity, tactical intelligence… he looked completely comfortable against one of the best midfields in the world. Morocco’s midfield even caused huge problems to Brazil for long stretches of the game.

For me, he is infinitely more dynamic and modern than Cristante. El Aynaoui brings verticality, mobility, press resistance and technical quality that completely changes Roma’s midfield.

Roma has a jewel in midfield and I still feel like people in Italy haven’t fully realized how special this player is yet.

Best way to get the ultimate Gamecube experience on Dolphin on a TV-connected PC?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for the closest possible experience to playing on a real Gamecube while using Dolphin on a Windows PC connected directly to my TV.

I’ve been looking at the 8BitDo Mod Kit for original Gamecube controllers, but I’m a bit confused about how it works on PC.

- Can the modded controller connect directly to a Windows PC over Bluetooth?
- How is it recognized by Windows and Dolphin (XInput, DirectInput, Switch Pro Controller, something else)?
- Are the original GameCube analog triggers fully supported in Dolphin?
- Is rumble supported?

I also know about the PowerA GameCube-style controllers for Switch, but unless I’m mistaken they don’t have analog triggers, and don’t support rumble either.

For those of you playing Dolphin on a PC, what would you consider the best option?

I’m mainly interested in getting as close as possible to authentic Gamecube controls while keeping the convenience of a wireless living-room setup.

Thanks!

Steam Input + Gyro support in Eden with Steam ROM Manager?

Is there currently any way/workaround to get gyro working in Eden with Steam Input enabled for Switch games added through Steam ROM Manager?

The reason I'm asking is because EmuDeck configures Eden with Steam Input enabled by default, which is actually super handy since no matter which controller you use, it automatically maps as controller 1, controller 2, etc. without having to reconfigure controllers in Eden every time.

However, gyro only seems to work when Steam Input is disabled and each controller is manually configured directly inside Eden (for example with a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller).

Is there any workaround to keep the convenience of Steam Input while still having gyro functionality?
