Anyone else get judged just for having a beard?

I’m from the Netherlands and I’m of Turkish descent.
I’ve been growing my beard because I like it, but I’ve noticed people treat me differently because of it.

A colleague I’ve known for 7 years recently asked me why I suddenly decided to grow a beard. Even my own family makes ISIS jokes or says I look like an extremist, which honestly sucks.

I keep my beard clean and well-groomed, but it feels like some people automatically judge you if you’re Middle Eastern and have a beard.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you just ignore it, or did you change your beard because of the comments?

my beard like this, grow it out, or change the style?

Sorry, I know I’ve probably asked beard questions here way too many times already. 😅 My post from yesterday got removed, so I’m giving it one last try.
I’m still undecided about what suits me best. Should I:
Keep it at this length?
Grow it out longer?
Trim it shorter?
Try a different beard style altogether? Maybe italian style ?

38 years old, smoking daily since I was 14. I’ve quit for a month several times but always relapse. Any advice?

Hi everyone,

I’m 38 years old and I’ve been smoking weed daily since I was 14. Over the years, I’ve managed to quit several times, usually for about a month, but I always end up going back to it.(now on day 5)

Right now, I really want to quit for good. I’m tired of being stuck in this cycle of stopping, feeling better, and then convincing myself that I can handle “just one joint” which always turns back into daily smoking.

For those of you who have successfully quit after many years of heavy use, what helped you stay quit long-term? How did you deal with cravings and the mental tricks that made you relapse?

I’ve already proven to myself that I can stop for a month, but I seem to struggle with staying stopped.

Any tips, personal experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What should i do?

What do you guys think suits me better?
Should I:
keep growing the beard,
keep it at this length,
or shave it off completely?
Be honest. Any advice on shaping/style is welcome too.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback:
Does this current look work for my face, or would it look better shorter/cleaner?
