AA LAX vs PHX

Does one or the other have more overtime opportunity? I want to go into avionics, which station would be better for me to go to? Which one has better shifts available to lower seniority technician? Also what is the situation at LAS like? I understand its just a small line station, what would my career look like there? I think i would get broader experience working at a bigger station right?

American Airlines Ramp Interview

So everyone says don't say you have your A&P during the ramp interview.. Has anyone not gotten hired because they said they have their A&P?

This is ridiculous. My work experience and resume show i have an A&P. And yet these hiring managers ostensibly invite all these people out without reviewing any of it? I'm told its very difficult to get an AMT interview because all the spots are being taken from people transferring from the ramp. But I'm told to not say that I'm an A&P during your ramp interview because they wont hire me. So im supposed to lie during the interview and pray they haven't looked actually looked at my application and won't look at my application before i'm hired?

Is a last minute in person interview normal for American?

I have 69 different applications on my profile for different positions at American, I'm trying to get on as an AMT. On Friday at 4pm mountain time a received an email inviting me to an in person interview on Monday or Tuesday. Is it usually so sudden? I scheduled the interview and bought my plane ticket right away. I thought I would get like a week heads up or something so I could schedule time off, but it is what is I guess.

There was a bunch of different time slots on Monday and Tuesday I could select, it says the interview is 45 minutes. I understand it will probably be a group interview? With having an a&p, what do you think my chances of getting hired are?

American airlines OSM role

Last friday American post an overhaul support mechanic role in tulsa. I got my application in Friday evening, then I noticed a couple days later they had already taken down the position. Today the status updated on my profile but it doesn't say anything, it went from "new application" to blank... Anyone have any idea what that means? It seems strange they took the role down so fast, it seems like a bad omen. Anyone have the inside scoop? How many people are they supposed to be hiring for that role?

Systems Technician at Boeing Charleston

A recruiter at a staffing agency messaged me about "Systems Technician(entry level)" for Boeing SC. Is this a flight line role or a factory floor role? I'm a newly licensed A&P. I dont want to be a scab but i applied for IAM jobs but i got declined. After how long of working there could i apply to transfer to an IAM job at a different location?
