Finally got some nice pictures of Ruby
Ruby is just over 10 weeks old and is the most shy of the kittens. Today she was in a goofy mood and was busy playing with her siblings.

My mom gave me this 40 years ago and it was old then. What’s your guess?
Edit: All of you are amazing and your knowledge of geography and history are remarkable. I appreciate all of the replies.
These leaves face the window so I get to look at the boring juvenile leaves. 15+” long leaves now.
Ruby is the third of three kittens and has always been cautious and quick to run back to her mom but the past week she has just been a hurricane of activity. She climbs the cat tower, wrestles with her siblings and has been having a blast playing with string toys.
She is our first tortie and I just love her to bits. She is a little over 7 weeks old.
The kittens turned six weeks old last week and we added a cat tree to their room and they are having a blast. Pumpkin is just a mess and I love his little soup belly and his expressive tiny face.
Just over 6 weeks ago a stray cat we were taking care of gave birth to three kittens. Ruby is our first tortoiseshell cat.
She has two siblings, a black kitten named Homer and an orange named Pumpkin.
She is the most cautious little kitten. Her brothers are chaos and she is a sweet girl who prefers to be near her mom or playing by herself. She does wrestle with the boys and the other cats but overall she is a quiet personality.
Hi all -
My pathologist wife asked to ask this group:
Where are you guys ordering controls for
HSV1&2 IHC? We have been struggling to find a good control for months now. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have!
Born in our closet to a Trojan cat named Carl, please meet Pumpkin. He’s perfectly perfect and a great addition to our family. He has a black sibling named Homer and a tortoise shell sibling named Ruby.
A stray cat had her kittens in our closet a month ago and Homer is leading the charge to escape. His siblings, an orange named Pumpkin and a tortoiseshell named Ruby aren’t interested in leaving yet.
Homer will be a month old this coming Thursday. He was one of three kittens a stray we took in surprised us with.
We are now the proud parents of 3 cats and 3 kittens and 3 dogs. It’s a full house.
Stephen and Carl moved into our garage many months ago. Stephen is cool and we got him neutered, Carl is very spicy and will not let you touch her.
About 75 days ago Carl went into heat. We kept her confined in the house except one night she got into the garage but no worries because there isn’t a cat in there (spoiler: a stray we call Major Monogram snuck into the garage and was trapped inside with her).
A week ago I was visiting my mom when I got a text from my wife that Carl had three kittens while she was at work.
So now we have 3 cats and 3 kittens and 3 dogs. And we still have to get Carl spay and the kittens too.
The last thing we needed was three more cats but I’m already in love with them.
We call the babies Homer, Ruby and Pumpkin.
