Hey, singer-songwriter here who has fallen out of practice over the past couple years. Looking for mature (age 30+) guitarist as a practice partner.

Ideally would like to practice making some new music, or reworking old music we've already created and polishing it up.

I mostly only have the weekends free because of my job, but I'm sure there will be days in the week where I'll be practising as well.

The idea is to practice the actual process of writing song demos for later building upon with more instrumentation. Maybe eventually we find competent drums and bass players as well.

I lean heavily into indie, blues, alternative rock sort of songwriting. Not into metal or punk or rap.

Heres some examples of my past work, starting with one of my most recent songs to get an idea of where I'm at now and where I was in the past when singing regularly. I've written tons of songs over the past 9 years. I'm a self taught singer so consider that a slow 9 years of practice haha.

My voice sits most comfortably in A minor and E minor keys. BPM's of 90-125.

Used cardboard, spray foam and plaster cloth. Up next is some glue and sand, then some paint.

I lost the packaging so I'm not sure of the weight of the wheels, they're aluminum and brass though.

Put the wheels on my truck with smaller than stock tires (64mm).

In low gear the power seems to surge when going forwards. Like speeds up and slows down in a cycle.

High gear is smooth at full throttle but if you slow down it does the surging a bit as well.

High gear is also noticeably slower than when I had the stock plastic wheels on it.

The surging is annoying but I can live with it if I know it's not damaging anything. Can I keep driving it like this?
