Pros and cons?

Looking to get my first bike this winter. I want Evo or carbed twin cam. Which frame? I'm reading that the FXR handles better than Dyna due to the FXR swingarm being frame mounted vs the Dyna transmission mounting. Could anyone shed some better light on this. Not opposed to a softail either. 6'3 330lbs.

It's Rant Time

The 6.0. Incredible piece of equipment. I have read at least a few, blogs, forums, reviews, and have noticed a reoccurring point made by owners. "Poor fuel mileage." Personally, I believe a truck is a tool. Granted I do not know the task of every owner full size pickup truck owner. Yet I have seen that there is a pattern for modern day truck owners. That pattern I have recognized is vanity, and my question, what did you expect? A 6,000lb/2700+kg vehicle, 300hp 360ft-lbs of tq (LQ4), for HD optioned 500lb/226kg frame for a single cab long bed. What did you expect to happen? A truck designed to work and carry weight, and many complain about fuel economy, while their daily task can be accomplished by a 4 banger. That is all.

Hood rests rusted in place

Soaked in penatrant periodically for a year with no progress. Until I have access to my home shop. Super color matching bouncy ball. No more hood shake.

Wife Swap

I love driving Cindy (Green) cause she's manual, but I want a/c and Peggy (White) needs to stretch her legs anyway.

I yearn for ignorance.

I'm tired of my Cateye's neutered rev limiter. Every time I'm in a tunnel or under a bridge I press the clutch, the 6.0 roars, then bleeeeehhhh. What's the easiest and most cost effective method for programming the Flateye, rev limiter. To drive a manual and not be able to rev bomb properly is a huge con for my 2005 2500HD 6.0 NV4500 4X4

Linus smeg tip

Dirty trucks show leaks easier. I'm constantly on dirt roads and muddy jobsites. If you're anal about vehicles, good on you. I likely wouldn't have noticed a dark stain on a dark wheel well. But light mud stained by a hydraulic leak. (Soft line just before the banjo bolt in the Brake system.)
