Dior Dway D-Constellation slides for my upcoming vacation

I’m usually a 37 in pretty much every pair of slides I own, so I stuck with a 37 for these Dior Dway D-Constellation slides too. Was slightly nervous because sandals can be weird with sizing, but these fit me ridiculously well. My heel sits right where it should and the strap doesn’t make my foot look squished.

I actually bought these with a very specific outfit in mind lol. My boyfriend and I are leaving for vacation on the 20th and I wanted something I could throw on with a flowy dress for dinner or just walking around after the beach. The white and muted gold feels dressy enough without looking like I tried too hard, which is basically exactly what I wanted.

The little constellation print on the footbed is such a cute detail too, even though half of it disappears the second I put them on. Now I just need to decide which dress is coming with me.

Vacation accessories showed up just in time

We leave on the 16th, and somehow that turned into an excuse for me to order accessories for both of us lol.

I’ve been eyeing these heeled slides for so long, so I’m way too excited that I finally have somewhere to wear them. I got my usual EU 37 and they fit me really well, with my heel sitting right where it should.

I picked the brown cap and sunglasses for him based on the kind of stuff he already wears. Most of his closet is neutral and pretty simple, so both fit his usual style without making him look overly dressed up. I mostly wanted a couple of things that would pull his vacation outfits together and make our photos look a little better.

A few other small things made it into the order too because apparently I lose all self-control before a trip.

12kg Haul|Supreme tee+RL shirt+Ga11ery Dept hoodie

1.Patchwork jacket

Probably the loudest piece in the haul. The different panels line up well and the colors don't look washed out. Definitely something that stands out without feeling cheap.

2.Camo graphic tee

The graphic has good contrast and the fabric has a nice amount of weight to it. Looks even better in person than it did in the QC photos.

3.Small graphic tee

Simple piece but the little front graphic is stitched cleanly. Fit looks easy to wear and the blank doesn't look thin.

  1. Black graphic tee

Really like how minimal this one is. The print placement is clean and the shirt has a smooth, heavyweight feel.

W2C:https:👔//weidian.👔com/item.html?itemID=7576878277

5.Logo tee

One of the easiest shirts in the haul to throw on. Nice heavy cotton with a relaxed shape that should break in well after a few washes.

W2C:https:👔//weidian.👔com/item.html?itemID=7676920182

  1. Red crewneck

The red color is brighter in person than I expected. Ribbing looks solid and the embroidery is clean without loose threads.

  1. Black hoodie

Soft fabric with enough weight to keep the hood sitting nicely instead of collapsing. The front print is crisp and everything looks well finished.

Homemade Gimbap

For the ingredients, I used seaweed, sesame oil, cucumber, pickled radish, spicy Korean-style fish cakes, and a fried egg.

but the rice fell out when I sliced it. I'm not sure what went wrong—did I use the wrong kind of seaweed?

15m+ Little chick rice balls on soft scrambled eggs 🐥

Made these with soft rice, scrambled eggs, a little black sesame, and tiny pieces of corn. The chicks came out slightly uneven, but they still looked pretty cute on the plate. Definitely easier to make than I expected
