Gen Z is changing the work culture and now we are called entitled and lazy

Let's address the elephant in the room: entitlement and laziness are the accusations thrown at Gen Z daily. But is that fair?

We do expect flexibility, purpose, and work-life balance but we're also willing to walk away when those aren't met. That's not laziness; that's leverage we've earned in a tight labor market. We're using AI to work faster, not less. We're cutting through meeting bloat and corporate jargon to actually get things done.

Are we entitled? Maybe we're just done pretending that loyalty to a company equals sacrificing mental health. We value efficiency over hours logged. If that's "lazy," then we're redefining what hard work looks like-output over optics.

The reality is we're not avoiding work. We're avoiding pointless work. And honestly? That might be the most productive shift yet.

Bill Gates said, "I will always choose a lazy person to do a difficult job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it." What's a real-life example of this?

After researching Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam, I've hit an uncomfortable conclusion.

Spent years digging into scriptures. Found compassion, yes. But also objective moral rot: caste-based oppression in Hindu texts, eternal torture in Christianity, and violent rulings on apostasy in Islam. These aren't "different values"-they're immoral by any modern standard. We've been defending the indefensible because it's "sacred." Hard to unsee once you do.

How do religious people accept this,i am curious? Is it out of fear or ignorance?

Why does Mauritius feel so sketchy all of a sudden?

Is it just me, or does Mauritius feel kinda off right now?

Between prices going nuts (fuel and food are way up), cops busting massive drug and money laundering operations worth billions of rupees, and a real rise in random violent attacks (not just gang stuff anymore)… people are on edge.

Plus there's political drama with the MMM party tearing itself apart.

Not to mention the recent Crepe case.

Anyone else feeling it? 👀

Hey guys, i am going to study at Heriot-Watt Malaysia. I was wondering if anyone is also joining this year since it is not as popular of a destination as other uni like APU, Sunway and Taylor's.
