Universal coolant in my 3800 series 3
Hello, I had a couple questions regarding a coolant flush on my 3800 powered 2008 Grand Prix. I accidentally ordered universal yellow coolant instead of orange. I am assuming there is dex-cool currently in my engine since the coolant looks orange. I am seeing conflicting answers if newer universal coolant is safe or not. If I should get the orange coolant I will, just can't find a clear answer. If it's important, I plan to fill repeatedly with distilled water until it drains clear, then fill with new coolant.
First coolant flush 2008 Grand Prix 3.8L 110k miles
Doing what I think is the first coolant service on this car since the current coolant looks terrible. Thankfully I do not have any overheating issues, or oily milkshakes (yet) but I would like to get this service done since it is getting very hot in the US. From my understanding, I should start draining coolant out and replacing it with distilled water until the water is relatively clear, then start draining the water and replace it with coolant until it is almost all coolant in the system.
My main question is: Can I drive my commute to work (100mi round trip mostly highway) with distilled water in the system? Or should the distilled water only be in the system long enough for it to cycle through the system before it is then drained out.
Would appreciate the advice!
Main parking brake cable snapped?
Pulled in my driveway after work today and hear a loud sound as I engaged the parking brake, and it now goes to the floor and back up with no resistance. It still drives and brakes normal, just no parking brake. If I look at the parking brake pedal, it still has the cable connected properly so I assume that cable is busted. The problem is that I don't know what this part is called since I know there are many cables going to each brake caliper. Any advice from someone who has done this job?
Question regarding Hilton Cancun All-inclusive Dinner Reservations
I will be staying at this property soon and was wondering if I can make dinner reservations prior to arrival. I am Diamond if that matters in this case. Thanks!

ABS continues to have issues when turning after front bearing replaced 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L
Situation as described in title. I have been having issues where my abs kicks in or is completely disabled after making sharp turns in drive in my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. Wires to the hubs all appear to be in good shape. I have replaced the front two bearings and the problem is exactly the same as before. What should I do next??
Ordered pair of struts, they look different in person. Will this cause issues if they are installed? Both are for the rear. For use on a 2008 Pontiac Grand prix 3.8L
One of them has a sticker where the part number is followed by an "R" and the other is followed by an "L"
Edit: I measured them and they are identical height, mounting points are the same besides being mirrored (assuming because one is left one is right). Best guess is one is a newer revision of the part since the part numbers match, but one box looks older and faded.
Edit 2: I'm going to send them back since they are very clearly mismatched. I will be reordering a different brand and hope that I'll get the right ones
Do I need new struts? 2009 Grand Prix
Was at the shop today replacing ones that have worn unevenly and feathered. The mechanic I was talking to said the wear pattern indicated that I need new struts. The inside of the old tires wore out much faster than the outside. I haven't noticed any suspension related issues so far. The guy there said I should replace the struts myself if I can and get the allignment after. Does this sound like a good idea, and does anyone have advice regarding this issue?
Note: I am fairly certain this car is on the original struts, and is at 108,000 miles.
