So i ordered this Sweater for a Kris (deltarune) cosplay, but it’s very bright and sticks out like a sore thumb against what else i plan to wear with the outfit, so i need some help!!!

I want to darken the sweater, and I heard online that using charcoal dye would get the tint effect i’m looking for, can anyone verify/ give alternatives?

Also I’d like to add weathering if i could but I’ve never done it before so i’d like some suggestions on how i can make the sweater look “lived in”
