A bunch of explosions rang out in Addis, people there said. They seem to be caused by drones that have targeted the military base and airport.

If these reports are true, this is pretty significant isn’t it? Addis hasn’t ever been struck by drones in modern warfare. It pretty much strips the image of Addis as the safe haven of the country free from this war bullshit.

What’s the go here for ENDF? Invest in Addis-stationed anti-drone technology if these reports are true? I know the federal government is in partnership with Turkey, the UAE and Israel for such equipment.

And can anyone in AA report if these explosions are actually drone related?

Why did she get mad that after Carlos got his sight back, and she practically forced him to take a job as the CEO or something of a big company (replacing Bradley who was cheating on his wife who snapped and murdered him after finding out; their whole relationship should have been a cautionary tale for Gaby and Carlos but anyway…), he wouldn’t be around as much again, like in season one where she commits adultery with a kid when Carlos was… not around as much to support her self-centeredness?

Now in season 5 episode 11 she’s mad because Carlos won’t fuck her as much as she wants him to because… he’s working overtime trying to get the big bucks for her… as much as she wants him to make.

It’s like people seem to think she has this terrific character development but it rings false to me. She’s still as selfish as she was in the early seasons. It’s like all she wants from Carlos is either money or to fuck her every night, but obviously she can’t have both. I guess that’s why she searched for the latter elsewhere in season one when Carlos was too busy at work. It’s sad.

I’m fairly certain it’s between:

1. Ethiosemites of Ethiopia and Eritrea otherwise known as Habesha (which technically would include arabised groups like the Tigre of Eritrea). They are uniformly around 50-55% Eurasian, but outliers of up to 60% West Eurasian admixture are present in this population. They pretty much should be considered Caucasian up to a certain extent.
2. Nomadic Cushite pastoralist/agriculturalist tribes of Eritrea and Sudan like the Beja, Nubians, and Beni Amer, who have interacted a lot with Arabs from Yemen and Saudi Arabia thus influencing their already high base Eurasian admixture.
3. Or just Sudanese Arabs in northern to central Sudan. These guys are pretty much genetically Arab with some minor subsaharan Nilotic and Cushitic input but different Arab groups of Sudan do have more SSA than others.

Or is there another group I’m forgetting? Who is it? What do G25 distances and qpadm models suggest? I’m leaning towards Habesha especially Tigrayans, Tigrinya and Tigre of Eritrea and Ethiopia being the most Eurasian shifted based on the modelling I’ve done but need other people’s thoughts.

What level of Levantine admixture do Karaite Jews from Egypt get?

I’ve rarely if ever seen a post from an Egyptian Jew on their IllustrativeDNA.

Theoretically they should have potentially even more Bronze Age (Canaanite), Iron Age Levantine and Roman Levant era admixture to most populations from the Southern Levant (so other Mizrahi Jews from Israel, Palestinian Arabs and so on). They may even be on par with Samaritans in that respect.

Can anyone confirm with some samples from Illustrative or otherwise?

As the post above says. My friend is getting closer distances and single population models that give him Amhara as his core population admixture. If yall could help him figure out what he actually is? And what his admixture of West Eurasian vs SSA is based on these coordinates?
