This is my first client, that I've got after 3 months of waiting, for my ai website developer/creator gig, we've not been on a call, we've been discussing the site, features and functionality, but they insist me to be direct, rather than using the platform..

Idk what to do next.. i feel if I negate them, I'll lose my first client..

Moreover finding them felt like, climbing a mountain..

I need genuine help.. for dealing this situation and getting me more clients as I start from 0

okay so..

honestly the thing i think i'm actually good at is just figuring things out when there's no one to hold my hand. i'm a cs student who taught himself backend by building real things — not tutorials, actual projects. hobby trackers, NGO platforms, AI study tools. stuff that broke in production and had to get fixed.

i work with python, fastapi, postgresql, redis, docker, celery, jwt auth.. the usual backend suspects. i've also integrated LLMs into real apps using groq. but the stack isn't really the point.

the point is — i don't sit on problems. stuck? i'll say it. broke something? i'll own it and fix it. every bug i've hit, every architecture decision i got wrong and had to redo.. it made the next version better. i don't take feedback personally, i just come back with better work.

i've shipped things that actually run. async task pipelines, multi-user caching systems, OTP flows, payment integrations. none of it was clean the first time. all of it works now.

just a first year cs student in india looking for backend internships at this point.. remote or hybrid, startup or product company, doesn't matter. i just want to actually build something that matters and be around people who take their craft seriously.
