Fuel line routing

After installing a Clarke tank, the original pre-bent fuel line was too short (I used it for a bit, but it seemed tenuous - see third pic). I replaced the line today. To avoid bad angles and any kink on the fuel line, I looped it forward, then back to the carb on the inside of the petcock.

Question: this super thick reinforced fuel line runs very close to the engine with this arrangement. Any concerns?

TIA

BANNED FROM CHAT on Galaxy

I’ve been banned from chat on Backgammon Galaxy without explanation.

While we may all think we are reasonable angels, I have no idea why I’ve been banned. I never insult or degrade an opponent, I seldom comment about luck, and I don’t use profanity.

Given the recent upgrade in the system, I’m wondering if this is some odd glitch, though I suspect more likely something I typed was misunderstood or I did cross some line. The problem is, if you don’t tell someone why they are being punished, the punishment serves a less effective purpose.

Anyone else banned recently? Any Backgammon Galaxy admin here able to clarify?

(I’ve emailed support without a reply yet)

Kudos to Scorpion

I don’t usually post complements to companies, but I want to give some credit where credit is due.

I have a 9 year old Scorpion modular that I bought used. It lost the essential pin that latched the face cover down and part of the passing on that side was not clipped in or sitting properly.

I reached out to Scorpion to seek repair and was clear that it was not a warranty request.

Scorpion hooked me up with the repairs at no cost, even covering return shipping. The helmet was returned all fixed up.

Got to appreciate a company that provides great service when they had no obligation.
