Some friendships only survive because social media keeps them artificially alive.
Some friendships don’t really exist anymore they’re just maintained through streaks, likes, replies, and occasional memes. Without social media constantly reminding people of each other, many connections would naturally fade away. It makes you wonder how many friendships are truly meaningful, and how many are just digitally preserved habits.
Are we creating technology to improve life, or to escape reality?
Technology was created to make life easier, faster, and more connected. But lately, it feels like it’s doing something deeper — giving people a way to escape reality itself.
When we’re bored, lonely, stressed, or unhappy, most of us instantly turn to screens. Social media replaces conversations, virtual achievements replace real fulfillment, and endless content keeps people distracted from problems they don’t want to face.
At what point does technology stop improving life and start becoming an escape from it?
And if people are constantly escaping reality, what happens to society when nobody wants to fully live in the real world anymore?
Do companies that charge for internships deserve to be treated as legitimate businesses, or should they be called out like scams?
I keep seeing internship “opportunities” where companies ask students to pay upfront for experience, certificates, or future opportunities.
Some people call it an investment in your career, while others see it as exploitation of desperate job seekers.
At what point does this stop being an opportunity and start becoming a scam? And why is this becoming so normalized?
