As the title suggest, i request pictures of you MK2‘s with VW Up wheels/rims, preferably the 17“ Brands Hatch or Polygon, as long as anybody has this combination.

I have this Speedlite 320EX, which i bought some weeks ago, used.
Put in some batteries to test it when it arrived, the LED-Light works, flash triggered in TTL mode, then put it away for some weeks (2 or 3, i think), then wanted to test it again with a different camera, batteries Dead, no sign of life.
I have to point out the battery compartement was glossy when it arrived, like some sticky stuff was leaking or leaky batteries have been in there.
Cleaned it with isopropylic alcohol, no sign of corrision at the contacts.
Took it apart, at least back and foot part. There was some blue stuff between the pcb and battery compartement and around the connector of the front unit, where the infrared receiver and LED light are.
Cleaned it with alcohol, cleaned the corroded contacts, reassembled it, put in new batteries.
Now the power light just light dimmed, the LED Light maybe blinks, or dies not respond.
Am i right the pcb (Circuit board) is affected by a leaked capacitor? I have no clue what the blue stuff really is, but i guess it‘s from either a leaked battery or a capacitor.

Recently bought myself an EOS M5 (in a Kit with ef-m 15-45mm IS STM). Shortly after added the EF-S 18-135mm IS STM with mount adapter to the Kit, in my opinion a quite balanced combination, not too heavy, not too big either.
Also couldn‘t resist on a completely new and unused EF-S 18-55/4-5.6 IS STM for a literal steal (felt like it because it was super cheap priced, but like never even mounted)
The only downside, coming from Sony A7C/A7iii and Nikon D750/Z7/Zfc, as i had to learn, is the batteries. Aftermarket batteries of third-party-brands work flawlessly on either Sony or Nikon (the EN-EL15 type Nikon uses forever even in dslr-era or the NP-FZ100 type Sony uses for a while now), even the percentage or indicator for battery charge work there nevertheless… unlike Canon, where there is no indicator at all with third-party brands.
So i had to buy original LP-E17 (one brand new, one used, both roughly the same price on eBay) and sent the aftermarket ones back to amazon… if i just knew it earlier….
What really confuses me, coming from Nikon and Sony, is the little switch for the batterie door, which literally shuts off the cam when opening the battery door. Heard of that before, but it’s still feeling weird.
The Canon PictureStyle system is good to have (similar to Nikon Picture Control) though it would have been better to swap files via Card instead of via computer. (Nikon‘s easier here… Sony has profiles, but no files to choose from or to swap/exchange on the go, and also complicated to program these profiles).
Overall, the size and weight of the M5 with EF-S 18-135 really applies to me, the image quality is quite good with 24mp, autofocus works good, even the eye-af or touch focus tracking.
Cons are in my eyes the plastic of the body, which could have been made a bit sturdier (feels like it will break easier) or the downward flipping screen… (why would i even need a selfie mode screen, which is blocked by either the tripod or selfie stick??? Absolutely bonkers decision imo…)
I have cameras with total fucking awesome tech specs, but often like to touch or toy around with unusual or older cameras (have experience with Fuji X100F, Panasonic/Olympus Micro Four Thirds, DSLRs, Toy cameras like Chuzhao or Camp Snap Cam, and analog film with a medium format Zenith-80 „Hasselblad clone“ or 35mm film SLR and Rangefinder), so it was my intention to give this M5 a try which i thought was looking nice.
Anyways, might keep that Camera for a while, and gathering experience in this eco system with my first ever Canon.
