I feel like I used to be able to do that

It’s true. All of it: everything bad you could ever accuse me of in good faith is true. I’m a man whore, I’m a player, I’m a degenerate, I’m a scum bag.

I cannot and will not deny it: I am all of those things, and even though it doesn’t make up for it, a decent grip more explains it.

I spent so much of my life going out of my way to be a one woman, one family, one heart man. Now that I’ve aged and seen how that world really operates from time to time I gotta tell you there ain’t no such thing as a one person “person”. We all can clearly see the differences between ourselves and it only makes sense that we will be variably attracted to different people depending on the circumstances.

In spite of all that: you really are the woman for me. I desire you, all of you, and everything you can ever or will ever stand for. You are such a grounded and self-aware woman that i cant help but stare in awe every time i see you really click with the moment at hand and handle the bullshit.

I love you with all my heart, if we dont end up together, so it goes.

But i really hope we do, at worst eventually.
