Why is the Swashbucker feat Elegant Buckler so much worse than Extravagant Parry?

Elegant Buckler:

Turns a +1AC from buckler into a +2AC, if an eney CRIT misses you while you have a buckler raised, you gain panache

Extravagant Parry:

Give you +2AC if you have an empty hand, gives panache while normal OR crit missed while active

both level 1. Its not like the Swashbuckler gets shield block either, so why it the buckler feat just flat worse like that? Am i missing something

i guess you can like... hold a potion with the buckler? but you can still do that with Extravagant Parry, its just reduces the AC you get. So if you are constantly holding a potion its good? i guess?

Nomadic Fallen Empire in 2034

it took 8 years for a hive mind fallen empire (hive minds were introduced with utopia in 2017, and biogenesis introduced the fallen hive mind in 2025) , so going by that we can expect a nomadic fallen empire in 2034

Can logistic ships get stealth PLEASE

They keep getting stuck or killed because of wandering space fauna or enemies.

Please please please let them cloak. Maybe force uncloak them if they harvest or smt, but please.... let them cloak to make automatic collection less of a pain 😭

"Varguard Nefershah, what forces should we deploy to defend this region from the vermin?" "Five Hundred Triarch Praetorian."

I hate triarch praetorians

I hate triarch praetorians. I hate them. I hate their metal faces. I hate their particle casters. I hate their rods. I hate when the rods are next to the casters and I hate when the casters are next to the rods. I hate that Nefershah pulls 2280 of them out of her metalic asshole and then descends on me like a Vogon at a poetry convention.

I hate the necron vigilence meter. I hate it because it tempts me. "Oh its just one group of extra enemies, how bad could it be." This is patently false, because now i am facing fifty-seven angry robots with jetpacks and sticks pulled out of their asses to use as a backup weapon to bludgeon my skittari to death with.

I hate their damage. I hate that immobilising them simply causes them to activate their jetpack and crash the middle of a group of skittari and stomp them like mario crushing torts all day.

I hate their mobility. I hate that surrounding them simply prompts one of them to pull out a US general's helmet so it can make a speech about 'now we can attack in any direction'. I hate that their reaction to a devastating rear attack is to become somewhat peeved. I have looked a preatorian in his smug metal face as an encirclement that would shatter any other early game infantry closed in.

It went from :I to :I because necrons do not have facial expressions, killed an extra two hundred sicarians because I had foolishly allowed all four thousands attacks it has to have a target and then it swallowed Scaevola like a slim jim.

I have resolved to shoot every praetorian dead. Every praetorian. All of the praetormen and the praetordran too. I hate them. I no longer see battlefields because they're covered by a thick blanket of radium trails. I hate that it barely stops them.

I hate triarch praetorians.
