Duration of training-under review

"Duration of training-under review" Im seeing a lot of that on the skillbrige site, including the one that my command is considering approving. It was a 91-120 day. Naturally, they are shitting a kitten over it and are now sitting on approval. Any intel on why this is happening?

any luck with Federal agencies who have had budgets cut

Has anyone had any luck with any of the federal agencies who have had their budgets cut by the Trump Admin? There are a few that Ive reached out to but received no response. In my mind, they would want the extra bodies, but I don't pretend to understand how those decisions are made.

On that note, im like 0-4 on responses on private companies that I thought would be a good match for my skill set. Any insight?

Parade route chairs left in front of my house

An office chair and beach chair were left on the parking strip in front of my house after the parade. Will the city come take care of this or what?

$100 dollar "technology fee"

Shout out to Breeze for the $100/person "technology fee". Was told the only way was to go to my departing airport(RIC), which is an hour away, on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m(which, surprisingly is ass smack the middle of the work day in the middle of the work week). $400 for my family extra to fly this "budget" airline.

PTSD diagnosis

I have been seeng a therapist who is a "LICSW" licenced social worker for the last year for PTSD. I have been told that the VA will not accept their opinion on my PTSD and that it must to be a MD, DO, psychologist or psychiatrist. Im still active duty, so is this a thing? Should I seek a referral via my PCM?

Any update on CPAP rule changes?

Im retiring April 1, 2027 BDD to start Oct 2026. Ive been on a CPAP for 4 years now. I feel like im racing against time, here and Im sure this has been asked a bunch, but looking for any updates. The best info I could find is that in February 2026 the VA said it's reviewing public comments and paused implementation after pushback from VSOs (DAV) and lawmakers. As of May 2026, no final rule has been published in the Federal Register. Claims-industry sites predict finalization late 2026 (fall/winter), with a 60 day window before taking effect so the best guess seems to be effective at very end of 2026 or early 2027.

Events per hour skyrocketed last night

New to the world of CPAP. I have a pre CPAP AHI of 39.6. I started my CPAP 7 days ago and it has improved to 3-6 events per hour. Last night, I slept pretty bad and actually took itnoff around 2am after less than 4 hours of sleep. The events per hour was 30, all the other resmed scores were ok(seal, mask removals). Any ideas? Just a bad night?
