Canine skin infection - swollen submandibular lymph nodes

7 year old neutered Boston terrier 20 lbs located in Denver Colorado. Experiencing pustules on abdomen and now migrating up to neck. Noticed abdomen pustules 6/26. Saw primary vet on 6/30 for exam. Primary vet started on a chlorhexidine mousse twice per day. Did not notice swollen lymph nodes, stated other than skin infection everything was perfect. Received 3 year rabies vaccine in right hind limb. Noticeable swelling of submandibular LN yesterday. They are still squishy, but quite large. Images in Imgur address below. Would it be reasonable to take him back to vet to have these skin eruptions biopsied considering now he has swollen LN? The pustules on the abdomen are drying up and becoming less but he now has 3 crusty sores on his neck that were not there during exam on 6/26. Vet did not want to biopsy or skin scrape at previous visit.

Veterinary practices that are privately owned, no corporate.

Hi, are there any veterinary practices left in the area that hasn’t been bought out by private equity firms or corporations? I have searched high and low and cannot find one. Hoping there’s a unicorn.

I used this map as cross reference private equity vet listings

Is it ever a good thing if a practice is bought out? I am trying to see the benefit.

I wasn’t able to put a warning on the pic. Did anyone else see this sight around 8 am at Utah Park?
