I work from home and for the last 20ish minutes (starting around 9 am) there's been CONSTANT plane noise going on. It's not normal airport noise (which doesn't last long) or a flyover like for Broncos games (those are lower and louder).

I can't find anything online but it's driving my dog INSANE. I live near Alameda & Havana but can't see anything in the sky.

Anyone know what's going on?

Edit - it finally stopped right around 10:00 am. So it lasted for an hour, way longer than I'm used to. But hey, at least I can focus again!

Hey y'all I have a sony STR-DE197 stereo receiver and I have been dealing with the left speaker on Speakers A going dead, both speakers on speakers B appear to work fine, when I turn up the volume, the dead speaker appears to come alive, and sometimes that speaker will cut in and out at low volume but performs well at a higher volume, what could be going on inside my receiver? speaker distance ranges from 4 feet to 14 feet from receiver.

Hello you guys, I am 22 and I want to get my license by August so I can take myself to and from school and take my mom to work so she can save a ton not having to rely on Uber and Lyft. I have always had a fear of driving but at this point having a fear of driving is less spooky, compared to taking the bus/light rail hours to and from. So my question is, would I need to hold my permit for 12 months before I can get my license or can I get my permit and then turn around and take my drivers test. I am very confident in my skills, I’ve practiced before but I know I will need to do it a lot more.

Please don’t judge me for not having my license or permit yet, I know I’m too old to not know these things.

I’m wanting to adopt a dog but the fees I’m seeing are outside my budget. Posting this in case anyone knows a way I can do so for free. Only preference is that they are under 40lbs as I plan on having them with me almost at all times.

I am single, 30’s M, no kids, no pets. I don’t care at all about the typical bars, coffee, restaurants, nightlife, etc. I do care about outdoor recreation access and green space. I need to train for a mountain ultramarathon throughout the summer, and want to get into mountain biking. I’m having a hard time finding a balanced location between campus and my outdoor hobbies. I was looking at Glendale, Cherry creek, Lakewood, Westminster. Golden and Morrison seem great for recreation, but too long of a commute to campus. Do you local experts have thoughts on locations that provide a good balance between commuting to campus and hiking, mountain running/biking access? Thanks!

I noticed in the last week or so that a sign has gone up for a new Best Buy location at City Center off Alameda & 225. Does anyone know if this is going to be in addition to the existing Best Buy at Mississippi & 225 or is it replacing that location?

If the new location is replacing the existing, I imagine it has something to do with the consistent homeless camp that’s always setup at the Mississippi on/off ramps. Can’t be good for business. Not only that, the Best Buy at Southlands closed so I wouldn’t think they’d open a new one just 2-3 miles apart.

Can someone recommend a place to take a laptop for repair? I THINK wireless/network card issue. Either way, I need someone to troubleshoot it and replace card if that’s what it is.

How should I get involved as a parent?
