Is anyone actually able to access the Portland Data Center?

I'm just trying to figure out if these incompetent slime balls are scamming everyone and refusing to report an outage, or if they're just trying to extort more money out of me.

Not even 2 weeks after upgrading my account like an idiot, now 2 days in a row I'm waiting for over an hour before the useless app crashes.

But oh yeah, chat sure lets me know that if I upgraded to pro, and spent just a little bit more money, this might not happen.

Man, I wish I'd listened to the people on here.

Is there a reason mod creators are so bad at giving instructions? (Rant, sorry)

I absolutely love the modding community for BG3, and it's amazing what people can create.

But how is it that someone smart enough to code an entirely new camera function into a game isn't smart enough to create a full and complete set of instructions?

And then when someone asks a simple "why aren't there any answers for this" they shit all over them?

Like I just made the mistake of downloading a paid freecam mod that doesn't have shit for instructions. There's one vague page that mentions shaders and other engine downloads, but in no way indicated they're necessary. they are only mentioned half way down the page, and on a different part of the instructions they're implied to be important. but there is no distinction that "this is what you need"

Like the true third person camera is amazing, but they have a 20 minute video with no dialogue, randomly appearing text captions over choppy videogame footage, and no actual answers.

It's like a simple step a to step z 'how to' completely escapes them.

edit: I feel like it's mostly just an issue with the Patreon layout. on nexus you get a clear list of conflicts and requirements, so if you fuck up it's mostly on you. users can post issues and interact with each other easily.

but if instructions don't list these issues clearly, and I don't wanna lose a full weekend of futzing just to try out a new mod, I'm not in the wrong here.

most of you get it.

Starting from scratch, due to disability and depression. Should I go somewhere or is it ok to buzz it myself?

No pics, sorry. Shit's kind of embarrassing.

Long story short I have had long hair for a while now. Arms got disabled after a work injury, and detangling and brushing was difficult. Detangled a bunch of it myself, then I had surgery in March. Now it's a total mess again, and detangling it myself has caused a bit of damage, and im at a point where I can't do any more. I am ready to just start over.

So is it ok to just do it myself? Is there anything I should be mindful of or careful about by doing it myself? Or is it best to just go to a pro and be like "chop it off"

Thanks
