Is this camera legal?

US. so we moved into this apartment in Schenectady New York, it’s a basement apartment in a house . We found a camera under the table in the public laundry room , only found it because I was in a wheelchair temporarily. We weren’t told about it and you absolutely can’t see it when you walk in and do laundry . After our lease ended ( 6 months), they switched to month by month without giving us a new lease in writing ( even though they said we would renew for another 6 months ) . We also have been paying in cash and haven’t been given any receipts . We asked for receipts but they are just ignoring us . It’s getting to the end of the month and we don’t know what to do.

I’m here to give some kind of hope for anyone out there who is going through what I’m going through, I also need to write it because I’m still in shock on how well this is going for me. I am grateful. It’s been 6 months so far since my diagnosis of tnbc and I’m having a near complete response to the first line of meds, keytruda and taxol.here is my report, this is before my first round of AC which I just got 2 weeks ago. One more week and I’ll have my second dose. GENERAL: There is heterogeneous fibroglandular tissue (C). There is mild background parenchymal enhancement. RIGHT BREAST: Right breast mass is significantly decreased in size and enhancement intensity. The mass previously involved the upper outer and upper inner quadrants from 9:00 through 2:00 sectors; on the current exam it extends from 11:00 through 1:00 sectors (i.e., is less extensive). Involvement of the overlying skin is no longer visualized. There is no evidence of pectoralis involvement. Skin and trabecular thickening/edema is decreased from prior. Right breast mass - measured on T1 fat-suppressed postcontrast imaging (#159: Series 10) 04/03/2026: 6.1 x 1.9 x 3.7 cm 12/15/2025: 10.1 x 6.7 x 6.6 cm Right breast mass - measured on computer-generated vascular map imaging 04/03/2026: 5.1 x 0.5 x 4.2 cm, volume 12 mL 12/15/2025: 10.2 x 6.3 x 10.4 cm, volume 215 mL No new mass or worrisome enhancement is visualized in the right breast. LEFT BREAST: No suspicious mass or non-mass enhancement. OTHER: Right axillary and internal mammary lymphadenopathy is significantly decreased from previous. Right axillary lymph node anterior-inferior (#112:5) 04/03/2026: 1.0 x 0.8 cm 12/15/2025: 2.7 x 2.1 cm Right axillary lymph node posterior-superior (#122:5) 04/03/2026: 0.9 x 0.8 cm 12/15/2025: 2.0 x 1.5 cm Right internal mammary lymph node (#118:5) 04/03/2026: 1.6 x 1.4 cm 12/15/2025: 2.8 x 2.6 cm

In short this means “Significantly decreased in size and enhancement intensity" Not just smaller, but less alive. Enhancement = blood flow = active cancer. Mine is dropping fast.

"Involvement of overlying skin is no longer visualized" The cancer was growing into my skin before. Now it's gone from there. That is a major milestone.

"Volume 12 mL (was 215 mL)" my tumor is 94% gone by volume. What remains is a thin, flat remnant (5.1 x 0.5 x 4.2 cm → basically a sliver).

"No new mass or worrisome enhancement" No new metastases. No resistance developing.

"Lymphadenopathy significantly decreased" The cancer in my nodes is retreating exactly as it should.

The Most Important Number: 94% Volume Reduction in 4 Months.

I use ChatGPT to help me understand the medical jargon but I’m on my way to Complete NED by the end of my 4th round of AC. I’ll have my second I think may 5th. I’m been tolerating the chemotherapy very well and I’ve gained weight. God is good. 👍 it’s TNBC with lung mets and lymph node involvement.
