hello i start UCSC in three weeks but I have not heard anything about my housing assignment?? does anyone know when transfers will hear about it

is anyone else still on the UC San Diego waitlist? Do we think it’s gonna close this week cause it’s already going to be August

this is gonna sound dumb but how are you guys affording to live off-campus in san diego? even w a roomate its like 1k+/month and idk how im going to afford that. do most people work jobs or living off financial aid?

is anyone else stayin at CC for another year after this cycle? i really thought i was done with ccc but it looks like i’ll be applying again!

hey guys i applied to transfer to ucsd this year from a california community college but i got waitlisted. i applied for political science: public policy and a 3.6 gpa. i also had ecs working for the government and being in student government at my cc. as well as a few others such as part time jobs, my own business, and being my dads caretaker. i completed ALL the prerequisites and i got my associates for transfer. i know my gpa isn’t perfect but i am still really bummed as my major is non impacted ther. i’m thinking about applying again with a higher gpa but im worried i wont get in and ill just have wasted a year since im 21 already. im asking previous transfer students, what will it take to get in?

did anyone get in for polisci?

there have been two ucsd waves for the wl so far and i saw polisci majors get off both times. i’m on the waitlist too as a polisci major but i didn’t get off. are my chances of getting off over now since they already took off a bunch of polisci majors? i’m so upset ucsd was my dream school and the school i was working towards at cc

I’m looking to attend a CC in San Diego to transfer to UCSD. Specially mesa college. I’m 21 years old and I will be moving alone. What are some good apartments/ areas i could look into? or websites. My budget is about 2500/month. is that even doable? this is my first time moving and I have no idea where to start.

i saw transfers get off for my major (polisci) for ucsd 2 weeks ago and i’m still on the wl. june is already about to end, is it over? ucsd has been the school ive worked for my whole time in cc and this is really hard to deal with.

i didn’t get into the school i wanted (waitlisted at ucsd) so im considering doing another year at CC, im worried about my Cal grant running out and my home life isn’t ideal i might go crazy if i have to stay another year. i’m committed to UCSC rn and im looking forward to it but UCSD was my dream😭💔is anyone else is the same boat rn

hello i’m currently on the transfer waitlist for polisci and the first wave was last wednesday but i didn’t get off. there was a good amount of polisci majors who did get off of the wl from what i saw. is there still a chance i could get off? if u were initially waitlisted for ucsd when did you get off?
