Which cycle? Help!

Long story short, I was a great student in high school but my GPA suffered in college as a result of getting sick for a couple semesters (it took a year and a half to get a diagnosis and treatment).

My LSAC gpa with my college courses that I took while I was in high school is a 3.0. Without them, my LSAC GPA is 2.67.

I just recently decided I wanted to go to law school, and just started studying for the LSAT. I think I can break into the 170s with some further studying, but probably won’t be able to do so until January based on my study plan.

I work full time, and have around ten years of experience as a paralegal since graduating. Because I am currently working full time, my study time is more limited than I would like it to be.

So, what is everyone’s opinion? Apply in the Spring with a higher LSAC gpa, or wait for the next cycle and apply with a lower GPA?

No, this isn’t satire like some of the other posts I’ve see recently. I wish it was.

Ignitix Connection (Atlanta, GA)

Scam company? Had an interview and was offered a job, but was doing some research and now I’m concerned. Their website is… lacking. Social media is lacking. Anyone have any experience with this company?

A month in Mississippi

I am looking for recommendations for a town to spend the month of January in Mississippi. It is just myself and my husband (we both work remotely). We enjoy art, theatre, literature, the sciences and history - but what we really enjoy is experiencing local ways of life and getting to know people. I know a month isn’t that long, but, if you wanted to experience the “real” Mississippi culture, and spend your money contributing towards a local economy that is not necessarily based on tourism, where would you go?

Edited to add that I am from NY.

Top spots for spending the month of October in Virginia?

What are the best places to spend the month of October in Virginia? Looking for towns that are campy and/or “spooky” for autumn, have an interesting downtown, and perhaps interesting local events. Unusual and thought provoking places (unusual history/events, thought provoking arts, theatre, or museums) are what we are aiming for in our travels. Any suggestions are appreciated! We are a couple that has had a rough year, and are looking for places that will nourish the soul. Thanks!
