People who spend 3-5+ minutes at the State Park booth

Has anyone ever figured out what their deal is? What are they talking about? Are state parks confusing to them? Do they understand there’s a line of cars behind them?

Six months in and I've hit a wall

The divorce was six months ago, the separation a year ago. I've long since moved out. I've had a minor glow up, I enjoyed the peace of mind, I've been going to the gym, I've met new people, I've picked up new hobbies, I've dipped my toes in the dating waters, I've established new routines. I've experienced a little euphoria here and there, coupled with liking who I am in ways I haven't in a while.

This past week though, I've found it really hard to go on. The sense of loss is massive, particularly regarding daily access to my kids. The past life feels like a hole inside of me. I miss doing little things to surprise and delight other people every day. I've started crying regularly again, I've struggled heavily with motivation and anxiety and (not serious) ideation, the regular confusion has come back.

I'm sure this is very common but I'd love to hear advice on powering through this and what awaits on the other side. Or at least some solidarity. Honestly, despite regularly seeing people I like I've been feeling oppressively lonely lately.

How do you handle the resentment?

It’s been 10 months since separation and 5 months since the divorce and I’m not doing terribly but find resentment and bitterness creeping in randomly. Over how everything went down, the fact that she kept 90% of the life we built together that she was supposedly so unhappy with, her current full dating life, not seeing my kids as much, and so on.

It’s not even anger, which I can use as motivation, or sadness, which can mean that I care about myself. It’s just this resentment that sits inside me like a poison and serves no purpose.

I don’t even hate my life right now! In a lot of ways I really like it.

Any advice for letting this resentment and bitterness go would be welcome.

Emergency No Parking all over the west end?

What actually is going on and how long is it supposed to take?

I've seen a lot of signs and traffic cones going up over the last couple of weeks and not a lot of, you know...people working. And why does the work involve so many streets all at once?

"wired LAN cable disconnected" error

Hello,

I got an LG TV about a month ago and have been enjoying but starting today it is giving me a "wired LAN cable disconnected" error message followed immediately by a "wired network connected" message, in rapid fire, again and again and again.

It looks like people complained a lot about this a few years ago but not so much lately, so I wonder if there is a fix that is common knowledge? I use my TV with wifi so there are no cables connected to it whatsoever. I hope I didn't buy a lemon!

I know this is not an official LG help desk but any advice would be great.

Thank you!
