I wanted to share this performance by the First Charger Family from SchneL’s Game Season XII in Calgary.

Jerrhan First Charger, Cyrus First Charger, and their father Jerry First Charger are members of the Blackfoot Confederacy from the Blood Tribe near Cardston, Alberta. Their halftime performance included an honour song, grass dancing, healing dances, hoop dancing, and a drum song.

Jerrhan and Jerry are both World Champion hoop dancers. It was a privilege to have the First Charger Family share their culture, traditions, and talent with everyone at the event.

Inspired by the Egg Russian Roulette challenge from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, two contestants go head-to-head smashing eggs against their heads. Most are hard-boiled, but two are raw. The rules are simple: the first contestant to smash two raw eggs on their head loses. Chad and Fraser faced off in SchneL's Game's take on the viral challenge.

Pork tenderloin, pineapple, and bacon soda, all thrown into a two-stroke, gas-powered, custom-made blender we call the “DaqWaq” to create Pork Soda. She pulled the black chip, which meant she had to drink the entire concoction while “Pork Soda” by Glass Animals played. Somehow, she managed to finish the whole thing before the song ended.

To kick off SchneL's Game Season XII, I wanted an opening that made it clear the game had officially levelled up.Tiffany Tailfeathers delivered an intense suspension performance while my cousin Chad set the tone and shredded some live black metal guitar. Then the crowd was invited to staple $20 bills to Tiffany as part of the opening spectacle. It was shocking, unsettling, and absolutely unforgettable. The perfect way to begin Season XII.

Every year, SchneL's Game begins the same way: with the Tough Guy Shot. Contestants must drink a shot of tequila, snort a line of salt, and squeeze a lime into their eye before earning their place in the game. It's a brutal tradition that has kicked off every season since 2013 and never gets any easier.

Inspired by a viral YouTube challenge, three contestants had to make an instant decision every round: lick it, bite it, or do nothing. The catch? You couldn't make the same choice twice in a row. The mystery foods started off innocent enough with a Crave cupcake before quickly spiralling into chaos with cat food, the infamous Paqui One Chip Challenge, a dried water-bug, and even a fresh cactus. With the crowd deciding the winner by applause, Gianni took home the championship... and a vintage '90s ALF stuffed toy.
