Police helicopter has been circling the La Costa golf course area for the last 30 minutes broadcasting an announcement. Too garbled, can't understand what the message is. Called the sheriff helicopter hotline and was told they have no information yet regarding this. Any idea what's going on?
I'd like to use the Sprinter for my commute from Vista to O-side but have concerns about parking at the Buena Creek station. The parking lot is just off S Santa Fe and seems to be a pretty isolated location. Break-in or theft issues there?
La Costa Resort often hosts outdoor concerts for their guests, usually running from 6pm to around 10pm. I've lived in the area for 20+ years and realize that having to listen to music that I may or may not like comes with the territory. But lately the gigs have included bass drivers that are impossible to ignore even with closed windows and doors. I've contacted the resort asking them to tone down the amplified bass and they basically told me to pound sand.
Current iOS 18.7.8 works fine. Don't want to update at this time. But red update prompt by settings icon stays on. Is there some way to disable this?
Bought Arc 4 new in 2011, battery still holds a charge and shaver works well. Replaced foil/blades a few times with OEM parts for around $40. Now, those same OEM parts are $80+ and getting hard to find. Are aftermarket ebay parts a viable option? Or should I buy a new Arc 5, which seems to have better parts availability?
I've been finding a lot of oil/tar globs on Moonlight and Ponto beaches lately. Don't know if it's related to the recent policy changes on using the offshore drilling rigs, but seems pretty coincidental. Just a heads up- when you're walking our beaches, watch where you step.
