did anyone here watch Noelle Gallagher? i’ve found myself really missing her content lately, it was so fun and comforting to me. i know she talked about being a bit burnt out after grad school. i just hope wherever she is she’s doing well.
I’m from a very rural area and although our local libraries are absolutely wonderful, we usually have significantly less material than say big city libraries. With the new partnerships, at least 1/2 of my notify tag is now available to me 😭 As someone who loves really niche hard to come by books this is genuinely my dream. Long hold times be damned. There is so much to read I could cry (from joy).
i checked out the first book in maggie steifvater’s raven cycle spinoff series and wanted to see the availability of the other two. well, the library doesn’t have the second book. they do have the third…because that makes sense. lol
I’ve been using Kindle Unlimited since early 2022 and as a primarily classics/literary fiction/fantasy reader I’ve found some really good books on it. However, *finding* them has always been the difficult part.
It doesn’t matter what you search or what categories you select, romance is shoved in your face. I don’t read romance nor do I want to. No shame to those of you who do, power to you. But it floods every category and it’s super frustrating. I’m not sure if it’s because the authors themselves are just tagging every genre possible, but Amazon should do something to make this app better to navigate.
Is this something they’ve addressed? Is it likely they’re ever going to?
