Steelbooks

Steelbooks

Gotta know how you all feel about steelbooks. I have a few and I got most of them used from my local second-hand game stores, but I also wanted to get one ahead of time from a preorder because I was a fan.

One part of me feels like, who cares-- games are games

The other part of me feels like, fuck it-- gimme that steelbook

Ayy, ayy, know what I’m sayin?

Piracy

What is everyone's stance on piracy now that Playstation has announced that they're going to be releasing digital-only games?

In my opinion, it's one of the only, if not the only way that consumers have any sort of leverage against soulless corporations trying to make everything a subscription or trying to make everyone, "[feel] comfortable with not owning [their] games" as that goofy, out-of-touch Ubisoft executive said.

Let me be clear, I'm not by any means advocating for nor am I vilifying piracy one way or the other. I'm simply asking for everyone's opinion, seeing as greedy board members, who are so far removed from the creative process that I'd be surprised if they've ever even played a game, have been chipping away at consumers' rights for years. It's now come to a breaking point and I think it's worth a discussion.

Bullet Heavens for PS5

Hi there everyone!

Does anyone know of a decently comprehensive list of bullet heavens for Playstation 4 and 5 specifically? I've played quite a few-- Vampire Survivors was my favorite, even some lesser-known ones-- Slime 3K, Bound Together, and I'm gonna get Achilles: Survivor and Ball x Pit (if that counts) soon.

I'm looking for more-- co-op games and/or ones with physical editions are preferable, but I'll take anything I can get :)

I've found quite a few good lists and reddit posts, but it's hard to sift through them because I'm only looking for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.

Any help would be appreciated!

Finally beat the game. Stopped counting after 7 hours (I estimate it took me around 9 hours in total), but I beat Ozma on expert difficulty without using any spirits :) It was a tough road, I thought about giving up a couple times, but once I started really trying to learn and not just brute force it, it was so fluid and just felt right.

How were everyone else's experiences? Did you think about giving up? Did you get frustrated? Were you sweating, hands shaking, beating third-phase Ozma? Thanks for all the help from the community, I really appreciate everyone's help :)

Khazan will go down not as my favorite game, but I'll remember it _very_ fondly and it is certainly the most proud I've ever been of a platinum trophy 🏆

Hey all! Still having tons of trouble with Ozma, but my question is more about how Shadow Reversal works. He normally starts off with those two charge moves. I normally Brink guard his first attack and reflect the second attack. Sometimes my Shadow Reversal puts me behind him, but most times I stay in front of him. Is there a mechanic I'm missing? Can anyone help me out-- hopefully I'm explaining the situation correctly

After taking over an hour to beat Maluca and basically giving up while trying to beat Remnant of Elamein, this image is how the game makes me feel after I finally think I'm gitting gud. Very humbling game. However, in all seriousness, I've been doing decently well up to now, this game is incredible, responsive, and its hits heavy. It's been punishing, but incredibly entertaining. I'm almost done-- finally arriving at the final boss-- wish me luck!
