Software for getting videos out of an SD card and into my computer.

I personally feel like I’m moving very slowly when I’m trying to get stuff off my sd card, whether my motivation is freeing up space to shoot again or getting all the right stuff for a specific project.

I dislike the way file explorer does things, is there a GitHub repository, or free software that I can replace file explorer with?

Speeding up videos and playing them while browsing without clicking in or full screening, streamlined downloading into my SSD or a folder I used before, easy deleting, good ui?

If not I’m considering just having fable make this application for me, good idea or no? If it’s good, I’d make it opensource if anyone else wants to use it, so anything else you guys think would be beneficial?

Sub agents for saving money

For context, my usage is sporadic so I prefer open router to any subscription plans, but I work minimum wage part time and live somewhere where cost of living keeps my AI budget pretty low.

I use Hermes as my agent/harness and I’m pretty sure I can’t change models within a session without using /model to manually do so. Is there a better way to orchestrate things so that given a prompt, my agent can choose from cost efficient models at different levels of capabilities? I’m considering just doing the whole thing with fable, but I’m pretty sure there are at least a couple things that it would be cheaper to handoff to deepseek or mimo and my lack of experience with coding doesn’t allow me to make these choices myself. Should I just plan it out with fable first and have it tell me where to manually switch models or is there a specific harness that can accomplish my goal of thoughtful delegation?

(I know Pareto is a thing, but I’m pretty sure you have to manually supply the minimum intelligence of the model you’d like the prompt to choose or it just uses something expensive, and that isn’t really what I’m looking for anyways)

Melody freestyling methods

I’m trying to get better at resolving melody’s through different sections of songs, usually that entails YouTube beats while I’m driving or playing god awful piano for like thirty minutes while practically moaning. When transitioning background melody (or I guess beat/piano melody) with the piano it feels more intuitive because I already know which direction the chords are going and I’m limited by skill so I know I’m basically going to just loop call and response, however with beats I can make individual transitions sound good, but it doesn’t really ever go anywhere. I guess I’m also limited on that front because I prefer beats I’ve never heard before so I’m basically just guessing, but recently, I’ve started trying to “hold onto” certain melody’s in my head by repeating them, it actually worked pretty well to keep the bridge I was freestyling in line with what I was returning to, but I’m wondering if there’s a proper way to do that, because I was fucking around and it definitely sounded weird when I was just arbitrarily picking things that sounded good at random points of the freestyle to repeat in my head while singing other melodies, anyone have any experience with this?
