My new carbon bike has an inframe storage.
There seems to be some marks around a bolt inside the storage.
Is this a problem or normal?
It seems like the bold is used to equip a plastic guard on the other side.
I currently want to buy a 2026 Checkpoint SL 6.
I'm roughly 172cm heigh with a inseam of around 79cm.
At the moment I drive a Ghost Asket Essential in Size S.
The Trek Sizing guide puts me in Size M.
The reach of the checkpoint is - 1mm and the stack - 8mm in comparison of my old bike.
Would you guys think size M would fit me?
I'm a bit worried that trek puts me in size M instead of S.
I don't have any store nearby to try them.
I'm coming from a Ghiast Askrt essential size S.
My new bike is a Trek Checkpoint Sl5 size M.
The Stack and Reach are nearly identical (-1mm Reach, - 8mm Stack).
However the Ghost Stem is only 60mm, while the Trek stem is 80mm.
I'm I correct that a quick stem change should nearly exactly match my old position if the new stem is to long for me?
I'm currently looking at a Checkpoint Sl5.
However I've read multiple stories that the brakes are bad.
I'm currently grinding a bike with GRX 400 set.
Are the Apex brakes a downgrade?
The Checkpoint Sl6 would have the new Rival brakes, but that would cost around 900€ more.
Any help would be appreciated, I never used sram.
Seit diesem Jahr scheint mein Fahrrad zu Quietschen. Das passiert vorallem in höheren Gängen.
Ich habe daraufhin mal die Kette abgezogen und gemerkt dass das obere Schaltröllchen ziemlich laut zu sein scheint. Könnte das die Ursache sein?
