First house! The first space is a really long room that I think should be split into living/tv area and a dining room, but I'm not sure what the best layout is. (ground plan is rough dimensions) I'm also wondering what the best living room furniture would be. I've always wanted a sectional but wonder if a couch and love seat would work better. Second image is not our furniture.
Moving into our first house! After 10 years of renting, we're really tired of neutral beige/gray/white. We want to add some color but not sure what would be best. I'm also noticing warm tone window framing but cool toned flooring and not sure how to choose the right colors to unify the space. First image is the current color, second is a green I like but I'm worried doesn't fit the space. This is for the living room. I've found some nice deep reds and blues for bedrooms.
I’m moving to Bloomington/Normal this summer to attend grad school at ISU in the fall (super excited!). My husband is coming with me and we’re trying to find job prospects. He’s in IT. How’s the market? Where should we look? (I imagine it’s crap like everywhere else in the country but thought I’d ask anyway)
