Took the ruckus out for a spin haven’t really done anything to it. I bought it used about a week or two ago went for probably the longest ride 10 miles. Pulled into the driveway. Heard an awful loud noise like something was screaming, took off the face cover and found this. What are the next steps and how screwed am I and is this possibly an easy fix, and is this drive face? cracked and in need of a new one
Which Headlights are you running on your Ruckus?, looking to change up, checked out rolling wrench and the ruck shop, all their shit is sold out without any sign of a restock. Found a 3 light bar on Reckless customs, in stock for $200, I thought about the Maddog LED FLP but I don’t see them often, are there ones I should stay away from? and which one work the best for you, looking for suggestions not criticism
Just picked up a Honda Ruckus with about 3,000 miles on it. It runs surprisingly smooth and seems to have been taken care of. Soooper excited to start diving into the really cool stuff I can customize
I’ve been reading about engine swaps and keep seeing people talk about the 150cc and 171cc setups. For those of you who’ve ridden both, which one would you choose and why? Is the extra power from the 171cc worth it, or is the 150cc the better all around option for reliability and everyday riding?
Also, before I get too carried away, what would you recommend customizing first? Performance mods, suspension, wheels, lighting, or something else? I’m looking for ideas from people who’ve actually built one.
Curious to hear what you’d do if you were starting with a clean, low mileage Ruckus.

I’m seeing a few recommendations who to go with and who to stay away from, I’ve checked most mod shops and they seem different only with price sometimes, which shops do you use and which one to stay away from (I’m sure this is a repost but I’m new to the group)
I purchased a used 2019 ruckus, the air box has been deleted, the battery is reading at 9.5 V so I’m going to buy a trickle charger to get it 12, I purchased a polini variator, but my main question is is the GY6 motor swap on Amazon ($350) made by X Pro worth it or should I just save up and get one from either rolling wrench or the rock shop I see this question as a lot and I see mixed opinions on both but for the price on Amazon, I would like to see if anybody out there has done it and if it really made a difference also, if I’m doing an engine swap, I probably wouldn’t need the variator
