Denji dropping the chainsaw isn't him abandoning Chainsawman because Chainsaw Man was bad.

It's him proving that the goodness we associated with Chainsawman was always inside Denji too.

The chainsaw can stay on the ground.

Denji can still save someone.

What if Reze was actually the one waiting for Denji in the chainsaw church ?

Theory : In the chapter 140, we see Nobana in the chainsawman church telling denji that in a room he will have sex with a girl then marry her. Denji hearing about marriage, immediately refused the sex and didn't even bother to look who the girl even was. So what if Reze was actually the girl who was supposed to have sex in the room with him and then marry him ? And after she got to hear that denji refused the offer she probably thought denji isn't interested in her anymore and that's why she became depressed and decided to never interfere again and maybe that's why every hybrid came back in part 2 except her. Because she thought it would be better if she doesn't bother denji again after everything which happened maybe... 🫪

This panel geniunely depresses me for some reason.

Why always denji ? Even in the "better" life he got now, in that he is treated as just another dude nobody cares if he gets killed.

Why always him ?

It plays sad music in my mind automatically when I see this panel.

Chainsawman appreciation post.

I genuinely believe Chainsaw Man is one of the greatest works of fiction I've ever experienced.

On the surface, it's loud, chaotic, violent, and absurd. But underneath all of that is a story about loneliness, trauma, identity, freedom, love, and what it truly means to be human. Every arc peels back another layer, revealing characters who feel painfully real despite living in such a bizarre world.

What I admire most is that it never treats its audience like they're incapable of thinking. It trusts you to connect the dots, interpret the symbolism, and sit with uncomfortable emotions instead of explaining everything outright. Every reread reveals details I completely missed before.

The characters are beautifully flawed. They make selfish decisions, they fail, they change, and they struggle with desires that feel deeply human. No one exists just to be "good" or "evil"—they're simply trying to survive in a cruel world while searching for something worth living for.

It's funny when it wants to be, terrifying when it needs to be, and emotionally devastating when you least expect it. Few stories can make me laugh one chapter and leave me staring at a wall the next.

To me, Chainsaw Man isn't just another manga. It's a story that understands people—their hopes, fears, contradictions, and endless desire for a better life.

Absolute peak fiction. Love you fujimoto for creating such masterpiece, and Fuck you for ending it too soon btw.

A man's dream will never die !

This is a Reze appreciation post after many Reze haters united on my prev post. I love Reze. DenReze even after the manga has ended. DenReze because what could have been. DenReze because she truly loved him. DenReze because it was his first time where he sees love beyond lust. DenReze because it was two Abused teenagers who never had a normal childhood finally feeling real connection. DenReze because she was ready to give up her dream for him. DenReze because he was ready to give up his dream for her.

Why are people so focused on Hating Reze?!🫠

I haven't really seen DenReze shippers spreading hate toward Asa, but I often see AsaDen shippers hating on Reze. Why?

The most common argument is that she's a terrorist who killed many people. That's true, and nobody has to excuse or justify those actions. But what do people expect from a child who was raised, manipulated, and trained for that very purpose? Acknowledging her crimes doesn't erase the fact that she genuinely loved Denji.

People also argue, "If she loved him, why did she try to kill him?" From my perspective, it's because she felt betrayed after realizing that the boy she had fallen for—the one she was ready to abandon her mission and everything for–actually loved someone else... That's an overwhelming thing for someone who never had a normal childhood and spent her entire life being used by others.

Even then, before becoming the Bomb Devil again, her last act as Reze was to kiss Denji. To me, that wasn't manipulation anymore—it was her final moment as herself.

Yes, Reze was a terrorist. That doesn't change.

But it's also true that she loved Denji enough to give up on her mission, enough to abandon her dream of becoming a country mouse, and enough to risk her own life just to see him one last time at the cafe...

Reze showed Denji for the first time what love truly is...

From Denji's perspective, Reze abandoned him. Yet he never let go of her memory until the very end. That's how much she meant to him... 🥹

I think the name Li'l D came from her love for Dih. I want Lil' D to bounce on my lil Dih 🤤

My Theory : the death devil is shown to be interested in human matters and enjoys the human culture. She is shown to be a foodie, and she also loves the company of friends, loves taking part in school festivals and etc. So it is very likely she also likes Dicks. That's why she had chosen that name specifically. And as she is shown to be tight, big dihs would hurt her. That's why specifically "Lil D".

Maybe I wanted Reze for Denji because I wanted Asa for myself all along. But if it comes to rawdogging, I'd rather choose yoru tho.

Tears of Joy 🥹

I really think Kobeni is the most ideal for foot fetish somehow. Despite the fact I'd rather bang Yoru. Idk why.

Is it just me ?

wtf is this ending. I regret my life decisions.

tf you mean all of the story we read doesn't even matter now. What happened to all ts hype of death devil and shit, what happened to yoru, if pochita ate himself, how does the entire story gets reset but there are still a lot of people missing but the Chainsaws still remain to exist how ?! I wanted power and Nayuta to return, but not in this shitty way. How does it even make sense ?! The concept erasure doesn't even work like that. Is the last chapter actually a dream of Denji? Or was all the story was a dream all along ?

James did this all intentionally.

Theory : I think James Lee intentionally took the hit from Tom Lee to make Tom look bad, and now he’ll probably involve the police and media against him since James is already involved in politics.
