Where have Nick's Boots been?

It's really cool to see all the engagement on this subreddit, with people all over the world. Which got me thinking. How many countries have a pair of Nick's Boots visited?

I'm going on a trip soon and will be taking my ND3 and heritage moc toe (dome) boots with me. I figured the ND3 are an "indestructible" boot so they should be fun to travel with. And I want to do the dome with the heritage moc toe.

One trip one boot

If you had to decide between the safari and the Backcountry for one long trip which boot would you pick? Weather will be mid 70s. And it's gotta be your everyday, everything boot.

No South 40?

Two questions: Is there going to be a stock Safari? Second, is the South 40 gone for good?

Did I just miss the information in the update email?

Could I get away with a "c" width?

Someone has a Palouse listed on the Nicks Marketplace in a "c" width. I'm wondering if I could fit into the boot enough to stretch it out. I generally wear 11.5D and a brand new boot will be comfortably snug. I can also wear a 11d though I have to wear the boots for a little while before they really get comfortable to wear all day long.

Do you think it would be possible to stretch a 11.5c out enough? I got some boot stretchers. I also met a boot dealer in my area who says he can stretch a boot out at least one letter width.

And yes, I know that I could also just wait for a better size or MTO the next time it comes up. But humor me!

Division Road Cutters

Finally got to take them out today. I said, when I was looking at purchasing, that they look rugged. Well they definitely feel rugged. Paired them with some Generation Laces fully waxed.

NBD Whites Bronze Rambler Division Road

I absolutely love the look and feel of the Whites Cutter. These just came in from Division Road today!

NBD Nicks Rockabilly Division Road

What a way to end the week. I was watching these on the Division Road website and somehow my size wasn't sold out. Nicks does it again!

NBD Falcon Predator Orange

This is my second pair of Falcons but first boot in predator orange. Everyone generally says that predator orange is a great color and they weren't wrong!

CWF With Red Laces

I bought some generation laces and I was planning on using these laces for a different boot but figured I'd try these out.

Division Road Cutter CF Stead Bronze Brown Rambler

Why do these boots look so rugged? I've seen one other post highlighting these boots. If you got a pair, will you share some pictures and your thoughts? The original cutter 350 is super comfy for me. I'm assuming that these would also be pretty comfortable but other thoughts would be great.

Cinnamon Waxed Flesh

Does Whites use different cinnamon waxed flesh on different boots? I have a pair of semi dress from division road, cutter 350, and chelsea 4014, and those all feel about the same. I picked up a pair of cs 350 of eBay and that leather feels more smooth. And the eBay boots don't scuff like my Chelsea boots do.

Good for them but I'm bummed

It's great to see that Whites had a successful Father's Day sale. It's a bummer the website isn't working though. I ordered three pairs and didn't receive the lead time notice when I purchased them. Turns out they were sold out. Maybe it's a sign that I don't need new boots at the moment.

Anyone got a pair of Chelsea (distressed roughout) or original 350 ltt cutters (CWF) in size 11-11.5?

UPDATE: I forgot to mention in my initial post that CS said the boots were sold out and would have a lead time so I cancelled my order.

UPDATE 2: turns out that the boots are in stock but I only learned that after I cancelled my initial order and the discount is no longer live. Now to wait to see if the honor my original order with the discount. And no I can't wait because I'm moving internationally and I'm not about to pay for that shipping... Or customs!

2009-2010 Black Digi Camo Jacket

I'm trying to track down a black digi camo jacket from 2010ish. If I remember correctly, it alternate matte and shiny black squares. It was a soft fabric. It has a full length front zipper. And it almost always look wet. I can't even find pictures online.

Nicks Moc Toe Collection

The collection is coming along nicely. I missed the RTS heritage Moc Toe and I'm kicking myself. I'm thinking the next moc toe will be a heritage in ember waxed flesh with a dr soles or vbar sole, and block heel with no stain.

Franks Wilshire, Wesco Hendrik, or Nicks ND3?

I've made it my goal over the last year to buy at least one boot from every PNW bootmaker. I'm missing one from Franks and Wesco. I'm also missing one from another solo shop in WA but can't remember the name. So the question now is, with all the sales going on, do I pick up a couple Wesco boots, or a single pair of Franks, or a Nicks ND3?

Chelsea Sizing and Feel

And of course Nicks drops a beautiful chelsea right before my cake day. I've gone through most of the posts on chelsea sizing recommendations but this is more about feel. I recently bought a used pair of MTO (Americana style) in a 11F. I bounce back and forth on using a delta arch or small insole to fill up the space. I still have plenty of space across the top of the foot without the insole but it definitely feels more snug with the insole. Obviously having the laces helps at times.

If I did the chelsea at the same 11F, would it be more snug because its new and then later put the insole if it gets stretched out?

It's hard to articulate, but my concern is that if 11F with laces is comfortable then 11F without laces might be too sloppy.

Viberg 310 vs Thursday Brawler

For the 310 owners. Does the spring toe stay pronounced over the life of the boot? My hope is that it would. Also, anyone got a more recent comparison between the 310 and the Thursday Brawler. I understand that the 310 is a viberg but that price gives me some pause.
